High voltage

Hey I checked with a utility my CPU voltage DDR2 is 2.06v and DDR2 VTT is 1.09v.

The limit for DDR2 is 1.62-1.98v whereas the limit for DDR2 VTT is 0.81-0.99v.

So is my current V too high?Is that why my CPU temp is pretty hot? When idle around 60+ degrees.

Thanks.

Guys if the temp of your processor and system is high, maybe CPU temp around 60-70+ degrees, can you feel the heat if the casing is next to you?

A rather stupid question but was just wondering.

Thanks.

DDR2 dual channel or just single unit

Guys is doing dual channel like putting 1GB of RAM in a slot and another 1GB in the same colour slot(also known as dual-channel) better than using a single 2GB RAM?Which is faster or is there no difference?

And when doing dual channel, the RAM must be the same type?Like now my RAM is Kingston 1GB DDR2.If I want to do dual channel, can i use a RAM which is 1GB DDR2 but different Mhz and brand?

Thanks very much.
