Suitable L775 Processor for my HD5770

My processor currently is the sucky Pentium D950 3.4 ghz and I foolishly earlier thought is the same standard to core 2 duo 3++ish ghz and bought a HD5770 as my GPU. Then after realizing that most game I play stutter like hell and then a quick research I realised Im such a dumb and my GPU must be bottlenecked like crazy.. Right??

So enough with the intro, I am now looking to buy a new processor (L775 Socket), what do you expert guys think would be just right for my gpu the HD5770 that would not bottleneck either my GPU or CPU for gaming purposes. Prefer the price to be at rm200ish or less..But still tell me if it is better to get a more pricey cpu than that..

Added info dont know if it helps, my monitor can play upto 1900x1600 resolution...

Thanks in advance
