What router to use with ZTE MF600 modem

I have tried to use my Dlink DSL 500G router modem and an 8 port 3-Com hub to connect to my ZTE MF600 modem ( for maxis broadband) but failed. This 500G has only one Ethernet port(RJ45) and one ADSL port(for phone line). I have trying been trying for some 8 hours and followed some "expert" advice posted....but everything failed. My earlier thread this morning: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/969559

Can someone please advise me on the settings and cable connections? If not, what router should work with networking the ZTE MF600 and my 3-Com hub. I am trying to network 3 PCs in my office to gain intenet access through the ZTE MF600 modem.

Thanks

how to set-up Dlink DSL 500G to ZTE MF 600 modem

Need some help in networking. How do I set-up my DSL 500G router modem to connect to an 8-port 3-Com hub and to my ZTE MF 600 modem..... I use the ZTE MF 600 for my Maxis Broadband. I just cannot get the DSL 500G to route it to my 3 PCs for internet sharing. I connected the network cable from the ZTE to my 3-com hub and I can see the green data light on the ZTE but the 3-Com hub does not show a connected greenlight. The other 2 network cables connected to my 3-Com hub are ok...I can see 2 green lights.

My settings on my main PC1 are IP Address: 192.168.0.2, Subnet mask:255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.0.1..... and on PC 2 is IP Address:192.168.0.3, Subnet mask: same, Gateway: same and PC3 is IP Address: 192.168.0.4, Subnet mask: same, Gateway: same.

This ZTEMF 600 uses gateway address: 192.168.0.1 by default. It uses a cross-over cable to connect directly to a PC when used as stand-alone.

Will appreciate someone can help me out on the network set-up for 3 PCs and using a 3-Com hub and the Dlink DSL 500g router modem.
