My slot- load dvd- burner stopped working suddenly (responds when you press the button, but cannot insert disc nor can the laptop detect it.)<br /><br />How should I go about solving it? Do computer shops replace internal dvd burners for laptops? Or should I send it to an acer service centre? My warranty period is over, and I heard that Acer takes really long to service faulty notebooks so I&#39;m hesitant about sending it to them. How much would it cost to get this fixed?<br /><br />Also, the Acer launch manager keeps trying to start the Power Cinema programme for no reason.
