i currently just build new pc and mostly just buying 2nd hand items ( all not more than a year yet ) but the prob is i sometimes having prob with ' not enough memory ' error... this my pc spec for more detail :

- CPU - Intel Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz ( 200x12.5 & using retail stock cooling )
- MOBO - Gigabyte EP-45 DS3 rev 1.0 ( upgrade into bios F9 )
- RAM - 4GB ( 2 kit of 2x1GB ) Corsair XMS2 800MHz DHX 4-4-4-12 ( 2x1GB was rev 2.1 / 2x1GB was rev 5.1 )
- GPU - HIS HD4830 512MB 256bit DDR3
- PSU - Cooler Master Real Power Pro 550W
- HDD - not related

it happens sometimes if i using both 2x1GB kit ( total 4GB ) RAM and if load any application like games or web browser it will pop out error ( even open mozilla also show crash note ).... but if i just use only 1 kit of 2x1GB RAM ( total 2GB ) it will running fine again... the main problem is my pc will get ' not enough memory ' error anytime without any reason...

i have using FreeRAM XP after that just to monitor my memory usage... after few observation, i noticed that the ' not enough memory ' error even pop out even though my RAM usage was olny 10-15% and memory free was above 70%... right now my pc will never can leave running application for more than 5 hours above and sometimes just below 30 minutes before the memory error pop out suddenly.... even my old P4 with 512MB RAM rig can leave running 24/7 for few months straight last time but this new rig was zzzzz

i dont think it cause by different revision of my RAM coz even if i only use 2x1GB kit ( 2GB total ) running itself, the error still happen... i just tried testing normal stock setting including recommended oc setting but error still occurs... even adjusting virtual memory also same.... so if anyone can solve my problem or at least give suggestion, i'll gladly try to fix it

or do i need to install 64bit os coz as i know 32bit Windows XP can detect RAM up to 3.25GB only... but why after i just use 2GB RAM also still have error
