Tablet PC compatibility with Mac

MAc user here. But may need a Tablet PC for certain situation. will still be using Mac as main work station.

my main need for Tablet PC is due to me taking down many notes, many meetings, draw many sketches, idea, plans, etc...

IF not mistaken, Tablet PC users uses Microsoft Word (Notebook format) to do the stylus input....IF that is true, i am sure the saved .doc document should be compatible with Mac? or they use other programs? R these compatible with Mac?

read about Mac OS own tablet Modbook but lack of support here doesnt really attract me..

any valuable advice?

hardisk partitioning

When i first bought my Powerbook, the hard-disk was partitioned into 2- 1 for OS system and another one for misc purposes.

Is it possible for me to change the partitioning now? like take some GB from one of the partition and move to the other ?

am in US now and will be able to purchase Apple stuffs under the education program. At moment, am budgeting to get a MacPro..
pricing here about 9999 and i can get it for about RM1k-1.3k cheaper.

i dont mind the hassle of carrying it around during flight but my big question is will there be any problem in airport? I'll be going through Penang airport not KLIA.

went to one in BJC during lunch time..
quoted me about RM 1050 for a nds lite plus somekind of gadget call SuperCard and 1GB SD card where i can load and keep many many games..and also 3-4 DVD discs containing homebrew DS games...

i know KL maybe cheaper but i prefer to buy from Penang le...easier..

Push Mail

interested to use the push mail technology but not so much knowledge. All i know is that instead of user pulling email (logging to server and checking), mails are pushed to you almost immediately they reached server.

If anyone here has experience, please share.

a. do we need to subscribe to Maxis, Digi or any local telcos? expensive? what is the charge like? one off? per month? per hour? per data? per mail?

b. not all handphones can do right? as far as i know, (besides the original Berries
) E61 and Treo can do right?

c. usage. When the mails are pushed to our handhelds, we can opt for them to remain on the server? so that when we use our PC or notebook, we can still download them. OR is there a sync function? So that whatever mail activities we do with our Push Mail on handheld and our PC email (Outlook) wi;ll be sync?

hmmm....more questions later...
