I enquired at Professor just now but the price is super high.

Came across an online shop which sells it much much cheaper but I don't know abt the quality and such.

Any input from BSMM members shall be greatly appreciated :-)

Thanks in advance.

Office air con problem

Hm.. in the office where I work the air con (central unit) is making the air very dry and cold. This causes my throat to be very dry even after drinking lots of water. As a result when I answer the telephone I can't really speak clearly due to dry throat. Any solutions for that?

So far h2O is not a solution for me

Collecting School Badges (Metal)

Hi guys and gals,

I wonder if any of you have the hobby of collecting school badges from various schools? Or perhaps in the past you exchanged badges with other schools during a combined event? Do share your collection here, if any.

My secondary school years were from 2001-2007 and by that time many schools were not using metal badges anymore, so it was not easy to collect. I envy some of my friends whose parents used to collect school badges back in those days where every school used metal badges, so it was much easier to swap.

Anyway, here's a list of my collection. Pictures will come soon when I get my camera fixed/ new camera.

1. MBS KL
2. SMK (P) Bandaraya (Pustakawan)
3. SMK (P) Bandaraya (Pengawas)
4. SMK Tinggi Setapak
5. Bukit Bintang Girls School (School Captain) (old badge from 70s)
6. SMK Convent Bukit Nanas
7. SMK Anderson Ipoh
8. SMK Taman Desa 1 (Ketua Pengawas)
9. SMK Taman Desa 1 (Pengawas)
10. SMK Seri Bintang Utara (Pengawas PSS)
11. Victoria Institution "fake" badge from San Peng flats shop (ask the VI boys - they should know this famous shoip)
12.SMK Maxwell
13. SMK Jalan San Peng (Pengawas) - rare, because the school has changed its name to SMK Dato Onn
14. SMK Jalan San Peng (Pustakawan) - rare, for same reasons as the badge above
15. SMK Vivekananda
16. SMK Seri Kembangan (Pustakawan)
17. SMK Dato Lokman (Pengawas Pusat Sumber)
18. SMK SS17 Subang Jaya (collar pin)
19. SMK Dato Onn (Pengawas Pusat Sumber)
20. SMK (P) Pudu - Pengawas
21. SMK St. John (Councillor Prefect)
22. SMJK Confucian (Pengawas Pusat Sumber)
23. SMK Subang Utama - collar pin
24. MGS KL (Pengawas) - damaged
25. Anglo Chinese School, Singapore (my only foreign badge - exchanged at an event)
26. SMJK Katholik, P.J. (old badge from 70s)
27. SMK St John (old badge from 70s)
28. SMK La Salle P.J. (old badge from 70s)

I have another 14 badges in my collection that I am not really interested to keep as I don't know much about the schools / no sentimental value as some of my friends had bought them for me at jumble sale / given to me by some friends and relatives who owned them many years back.

Anyone else have this hobby?

Laptop always freeze after 20-30 mins usage

My laptop is always hanging after I use it for about 20-30 mins.

Laptop Specs:
Compaq V3000 series
Intel T520 (or is it 250?) Processor 1.5 Ghz
1MB RAM
Windows Vista Home Basic
laptop purchased in 2007

Of late, I noticed the RAM meter on my Windows Sidebar always shows very high usage , above 80%.
And now it always hangs after usage of 20 -30 minutes.
First, the keyboard and mouse stops responding while the screen is still moving (i.e. clock, etc still moving)
Then the screen also totally freezes.
HDD light is off, but can hear the HDD spinning (not clicking) and sounds like it is spinning at high speed
I am unable to do anything except manual reboot.

I have tried it in Safe Mode with the same result - freeze after 20-30 mins. I can't run any antivirus or antispyware as the scanning would need more than 20 mins, and my laptop will always jam halfway through.

Tried running msconfig and disable some unused programs, running only on battery power, closing various processes with task manager etc etc etc with same result, it ALWAYS freezes between 20-30 mins no matter what I do.

Pls Help!

Thanks!!
