SOCAR Complaint - Are They For Real?

Recently just made a reservation for a car with SOCAR. I thought I would save some money by booking for a One-Way Hotdeals from KLIA1 to Giant Putra Heights.

When I got to the car, I found out that they can park anywhere in any parking structure. So I thought they have a special arrangement with the parking company. When I asked, they told me that there's no arrangement or anything.

So I tried to check the amount for the parking and it came out to be RM32.00. Unsure of what to do, I called SOCAR (which took 25 , minutes to get through) and enquired about the parking charge. They told me that because it was a One-way Hotdeal, I'm responsible for paying the parking charge.

I told them that it was RM32 yet he didn't care and said I agreed to it the moment I made the booking. I asked him where is it stated but he could not tell me. So I requested for a cancellation. He then said that I will have to pay a penalty if I cancelled.

Now I want to know something...

1. When did I ever agreed to pay for the parking?
2. What happens if it was parked there for 2-3 days which makes the parking charge to be over RM120. Am I supposed to pay it too?
3. Why should I pay any penalty when it is not clearly communicated to me that I would need to pay for the parking charge?

This is so totally absurd and would make it my final time using their service.

They are getting from Good --> Bad --> Extremely Bad

If you are considering SOCAR, I would seriously advise against it.

Please beware of someone by the name of "Raymond Luin". He is a scammer and has already scammed me out of more than US$600 and many other persons as well.

He gave us PayPal which is not in his name and caused a lot of our accounts to be limited and their money charged back!
