Mobile provider suitable at PPR Sri Semarak

Localtion is PPR Sri Semarak. It's in between Air Panas and Setapak Jaya.

Currently using Digi but find that the signal is not good. Data is slow.

Can anyone recommend a service provide that have good service in this area? Mostly using for voice calls. Occasionally will be using WhatsApp (voice call).

Can't load this page. Strange error but no fix

Lately started to get issue when trying to load location details. The highlighted details in the red square does not open up.

This error also happen in handphone which shows

Manage to trace the problem to my google account. I can load the page if I use incognito mode and also if I use a different google account.

Seems like this is an issue that is plaguing lots of people. I can see few posting about this issue in google forum. However, no solution yet.

Anyone know how to fix this? I have done all the clear history, cache, re-install, security settings and so on. Anyone having same issue and manage to resolve it?

Girl scammer selling faulty semi laptop

Selling: Dell laptop purchased at RM1025

Area: Palmyra Residences Bangi (not sure if she even live here)

The laptop is mostly working fine except a few keys are not working. Most important of the keys are "/" and "P".

When COD, only had a quick test and unlucky did not test those non-working keys. Seller said no problems with the laptop.

She also requested to only accept CASH. No bank transfer and no TnG. Now I know why cause she do not want to be traced.

She already removed the posting. She already blocked me in Whatsapp.

Lesson learned:

1) Not to trust when seller said everything working fine. Test as much as you can. Understand that sometimes this is not possible. So it's all luck.

2) Do not accept anyone who only want CASH. Make sure to use bank transfer or TnG so that they can be traced.

3) Do not trade with someone who is new and do not have any sales. I have not trade much lately so I forgot about this point.

Bungkus Kaw Kaw scamming

This happened 3 days ago.

I have been regular customer of Bungkus Kaw Kaw for few years now. At one time, for 6 months, I buy their coffee every day (Mon - Fri). Today, as I went to buy my usual Cham Ais (half ais and half sugar), this is what I get. This is the first time I buy from their Low Yat Plaza branch. I asked the cashier how come it is not full, she replied cause I asked for less ais. This is absurb! The amount I get is less than half a cup as the top part it tapered to bigger size.

So I lodge a complain to their HQ and all I get is, we will get someone to contact you. Nothing for few days.
To be fair to other outlets that I have been to, none of them are petty like this. Only the Lowyat branch is like this. Other brands selling coffee or boba does not do this when you ask for less ais. Also, since I ask for less sugar, shouldn't they add more coffee for me going by their "standard"?

So by their logic, when I ask for less sugar, shouldn't they compensate me back with coffee or discount?

Checking service records when buying used car

One of the thing I do when I buy a used car is to check the service records with service centers. Previously, I have been doing it with no issue. However, just called Toyota Customer Service and was told they are not giving out the information anymore due to PDPA.

Is that true? Then how am I going to check service records of a car before I buy?

Looking for advise on getting compact car

I am looking for a used compact car.

Requirements are as below:
- no Perodua
- no Proton
- must be compact size like Myvi, Iriz
- budget less than 30k

Been looking around but seems like not many choices at that price. Only found mostly Axia and Myvi.

Found some Ford Fiesta below 30k but not sure if spare parts are easy to find.

Found Prius C which seems like my only choice if can't find other cars.

Anyone other suggestions?

Performance RAM for laptop?

There are some performance RAM being sold for laptops. Just wondering is there any reason to get them as we do not usually overclock laptops.

Also, if it's mixed with existing RAM on the latop, will there be any problem?

I am thinking of getting it purely due to the fact it is same price as normal ram. Or better to just get normal laptop RAM?

What to do with my prepaid credits?

I am currently on Digi and want to migrate to another ISP.

However, my prepaid still have around RM120 unused. Can I know what are my options of spending the credits?

I thought of tranferring it out to my other digi user but apparently the credit transferred only last a few days.

Any idea how to make use of the credits?

Insurance for 15+ year old cars

As I have never owned a car older than 15 years before, I just only realize that insurance companies will only allow Third Party insurance for cars older than 15 years old.

I got into this dilemma when I wanted to renew my 15 year old MyVi. Strange thing is when I was searching online, some insurance companies does allow me to renew it under market value comprehensive. However, I didn't proceed so maybe their system will reject me once I wanted to pay.

I have already renewed the car with LonPac but like I said only third party. However, I would prefer to be able to renew it as comprehensive next year.

Anyone know is there any insurance companies that really will accept comprehensive for a car older than 15 years? If yes, please provide information and person who can help.

Few things that concern me about 3rd party:
- no free toll service (will get hassled by tow truck gangsters)
- no windscreen protection
- no claim insurance if sendiri langgar

This is not good when the car is being driven by a noob lady driver.

PC prices when will go back down?

Due to the pandemic, PC prices has been on the rise. Especially GPU and CPU (AMD).

I am looking to upgrade my rig since end of last year but pricing has not recover. Anyone have any idea when it a good time? Seems like price will not be down for at least end of this year.

AMD CPU Ryzen is especially hard to get now. Even 2nd hand units are sold instantly.

Try searching the numbers but both came out empty. Probably newly registered number for scamming.

dashcam keep falling down

I have 2 dashcams on 2 cars and both using double sided 3M stickers. They keep falling down. One of the car is always under the sun and another is not. But both just keep falling down after a while. I have tried using expensive 3M double sided black sticker but still it keep falling down. Also tried 3M tape primer still same.

I just found this thing called rear view mirror glue. Supposed to be used for gluing rear view mirror into the glass. Anyone tried it?

Any other solutions are welcomed!

Video recording law in Malaysia

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this.

Can I know where I can find the law for video recording or if someone have the information to share?

The reason I am asking is because it occurred to me if I am recording a video in a public place. There are people who walk pass. After I posted the video, one of the passerby ask me to bring down the video cause he don't want to appear in that video However, the video is not about him. It is about me but he happen to be in the background.

In some countries is it okay because you only need consent from 1 party to make video recording. But in some country you need consent from everyone who appeared in the video. Else need to blur the face. So what's the rules like in Malaysia?

Buy new battery but received old stock

I just bought a new battery for a car but the company delivered me an old stock battery.

I found out only after checking it with a friend. Without explaining further, this battery can confirm it is old stock.

My friend said, I can't proof that the battery is old stock so I have no way of asking them to change for me.

I am thinking, can I got check the battery health in a workshop and then produce the results to them? If showing like less than 90% healthy then I ask them to change to new one for me.

Where in Segambut/Kepong area can I find a workshop that can do battery health check and how much is it?

Bought it from Shopee so I have a week to dispute.

Battery for Vios 2015
