Hi guys,

I will move to Taiwan soon and planning to bring along my full set PC + Monitor (buying a new set over there will cost too much)

Anyone have experience in shipping used personal desktop and monitor oversea? I just called to a SF express and they told me to pack everything myself but I'm so worry my PC will get trashed on flight as I do not have enough packing material to make sure it is safe...

Any recommendation of international mover or courier (budget)?

[HELP] Rewiring radiator fan Proton Iswara

Hi all,

Help is needed. I encounter overheating issue on my Proton Iswara and sent the car to workshop few days ago.

The foreman helped me to overhaul, clean the radiator, changed some rusty pipes, gasket etc and one important thing is REWIRING.

My Iswara have 2 fan, one on the aircon (turn on whenever I turn A/C on), another on radiator (auto, on only when temp bar reached half)

He had now changed the system so that the radiator fan will turn on ALL THE TIME when the A/C is turned on. When A/C is off, the radiator fan will worked auto and only on if temperature bar is half. His reason is by doing this, it can kill off the overheating issue completely because the radiator fan will be on all the time.

So my question is, is this safe? I thought doing like this will drain my battery fast because when I turned A/C on, then both fan will be keep on running. Also the radiator fan should be wearing off faster than normal. And I read some discussion online saying over-cooling engine is bad as there is no room or allowance for expansion which results into great wear of, most especially, the engine block and piston rings.

Need some PRO advise out there to help me whether should i revert the wiring back to normal or not....

About selling a crashed car to workshop

Hi guys,

I had a 1996 year 660 Kancil crashed and the front part was damaged. Not worth fixing it as the foreman say it will cost me RM2k so the workshop also provide an alternative, which is sell to him. He told me just bring the geran to him and he have the JPJ form and he will settle for me.

Here comes the question:

What is the correct procedure to sell to him? Because the car basically cannot pass PUSPAKOM car check, so i don't think i can transfer the ownership until he repair it. But if I direct sell to him and he fixed the car by his own and did not transfer the ownership, in future any illegal things happened, it would be still under my name...

Anyone around can advise me what to do please? Thanks!

Also anyone around here can estimate the repair cost based on photos? Would be uploading soon.
