Car workshop ask for full payment b4 order parts

I had a broken rear tail lamp. I messaged the shop asking if they have the part.
They said need 1-2 days to order.
Told them ok, i will drop by in 4 days time.

They asked me to make full bank in payment to them first. Their excuse? Scared customers don't turn up.

Is this normal practice? To make full payment before visiting the shop?

I scared kena scam.

Why Malaysians tend to hate Singaporeans so much even with the Haze issue affecting us Malaysians?

Now its our turn to kena from all those irresponsible Indons and yet some Malaysians tend to defend Indon.
