Pennzoil USA has long ago discontinued this product.
Their latest ATF looks like this -> PENNZOIL USA

However, UMW M'sia is still selling this old product.

My concern is that, PENNZOIL USA declared in the PDS that their MV ATF using mineral base stock, while UMW Pennzoil Malaysia website state their MV ATF is 100% Synthetic, which one is true?

F.E.W. radiator cap

This evening checked reservoir tank and surprisingly found no water at all !
Then when I opened the radiator cap I noticed the cap was unusually loose.
Went to a workshop and replace with this made-in-Japan F.E.W. radiator cap. Price RM38.

Fourth gear being kicked back to NEUTRAL

Model : toyota corolla EE80
Engine: 2E (12valve), stock condition
Transmission: MANUAL, 5 speed
Year of manufacture: 1985

Problem:
During running, when engaged to 4th gear, gear knob goes back to NEUTRAL on its own, then RPM shoot up due to free gear.
According to my observation, this phenomenon happens only to 4th gear. But not always 4th gear will kick back to neutral. England no good, hope you all understand

3) Is AE92 gearbox compatible?

Radiator Fan (Corolla LE 12v)

Dear Sifu,

Recently found my temp gauge rise over half the meter whenever stuck in traffic jam, I thought it was due to rusty water in the radiator. Yesterday only found out the radiator fan was not turning !

How much does a halfcut Japan-made radiator fan cost? Where to find in Shah Alam (nearby Section 15,22,23,26)?
I phoned a shop, they got sell Denso brand (second hand), RM40, but they don't do installation.
I want to find a shop while got sell & install on the spot~~

Many parents from China went to HK and Macau and bought tonnes of milk powder back home. They are worried of their children's health.

Is milk powder "made in china" really that scary?
Is it possible we resell our Enfagrow/Dugro/Isomil/etc to them?
Any legal procedures need to go through?

My AD Resort consumes fuel damn fast

It is my father's car, AD RESORT 1.6L, 1995, Manual.
In my opinion this car should not consume so much fuel. FC 5.5-7 km/L is unbelievable.
Small town, no jam at all, just occasional waiting while tapao food.

Observations:
1. Engine oil doesn't leak.
2. Idle RPM feel like quite high. (don't know exact figure coz it has no RPM meter)
3. The car has very very heavy steering, feel like driving a lorry.
4. Replaced stock 13" rim with 14" BRM, using 185/60R14 tires.

Besides high FC, I wonder its steering is as heavy as other AD Resort. The feeling is just not right. Can't afford to install power steering, just hope that something can be done to make the steering lighter.

Question:
1. What makes steering so heavy?
2. What causes that abnormal high FC?

Can I change tyre size?

My car is Nissan AD Resort, bought 2nd hand.
Originally it runs on 175/70R13, but the owner changed to 185/60R14.
I found my car is not as fuel efficient as other AD Resorts, therefore I started to doubt the rim effect.

My question is,
1. If I want to use 175 tyres, what size is suitable? 175/XX R14. XX = ??
2. Can the suggested tyre size fit the rim ? What actually determines the compatibility of the tyre & rim ?

The Tan Chong logo on the box somewhat gives some confidence. But when I saw the blurry labels on the filter, it feels like cap AYAM . Price was RM8.
