Need advice on PC setup

Hi guys,

I am planning to build my PC and went to a shop for quotation, before that I want to mention that I am not a heavy FPS or NFS-related gamer, but I play Genshin, Dota, LoL, Path of Exile, God of War stuff like that, and I also use Photoshop, Illustrator, virtual sandbox, and loads of Chrome tabs.

So with that, this is the spec the shop gave me

Intel Core i5-11400F
Asrock B560M PRO4 AC-C
Colorful Geforce RTX 3050 NB 8G EX-V
Zadak Moab Aura 2 RGB 8GBX2 3200MHz Longdimm
Samsung 980 500Gb PCIE 3.0 SSD
FSP Hydro GD 650W
Montech Sky One Mini - Black
Seagate Barracuda 1Tb HDD - 7200 rpm

Altogether RM 4.6k. I am thinking to further push a bit to RTX 3060 and Intel i7 10th gen, also plan to change the RAM to Kingston/Corsair brand.

My question is

1. The spec the shop gave me, is it good enough for my gaming/working habit? Can it survive at least 3-5 years?

2. The spec I want to push (RTX 3060 and intel i7 10th gen), is it too overkill for me?

3. Is there any difference between intel and AMD Ryzen? Or just brand only? If got difference, which one should I go? I can push furthermore to 6-7k la... because need to buy monitor too... speaking of that

4. Can suggest me LG/Samsung monitor? 75Hz or 144Hz? 24inch or 27 inch? I scared buy 27inch later play game my eyes need to look every corner for game UI

How to Set QoS on this router?

Hello guys,

I just got this brand new router from Unifi (Dlink DVG-F2452), but it seems that not much info can be found on the web, even user manual also cannot find. I am wondering whether this router good or not

Anyway, my previous router was Dlink DIR-850L, this router got QoS engine where I can set a particular IP to lowest priority, but for DVG-F2452 very confusing I don't know how to set the bandwidth for a particular IP

Another thing, how can I port forward on this router? My device IP shall be on source or remote IP? So confusing

Anyone can help?

Greetings,

I am using Gigabyte Force M9 mouse right now and it started to malfunction after almost four years of using it. Thinking of buying Force M9 Ice but all place out of stock (due to old model).

Wondering if there is any other brand/mouse model that has the free scroll function as my current mouse? The one extra button where you click it and you can scroll very long page in all directions very fast.

Oh no wonder I missed out middle click lol my mouse is faulty, just can use scroll wheel but click is not functioning
