Hello....LYN brothers and sisters

I need an advised from u all... Recently...my macbook pro 13 unibody has problem on the display (water damage) i already asking around...cost for repairing my display around rm900 including everything....
Im a fulltime photographer....now im using my ipad to replace my macbook for my daily routine works...so far...so good...my ipad can supports my photo routine works...

The main topics is...should i repaired my macbook display... Or buy a IPS dislay (cost me around rm600) for my retouched works...at this moments i connected old samsung lcd display with my macbook via minidv-vga.( but the color produced really bad!) im thinking to connect my macbook pro with IPS monitor to get the accurate color editing....

Please advised.....

Dear LYN Forumers,

I'm still new in Video Editing Productions... need your advices and helps...
How the VIDEO CAPTURE CARDS / DEVICES can help in video editing productions... at this moments i'm using Adobe Premiere Pro on PC and Final Cut Pro on Mac. for uploading the footage i'm just connected the video camera using a Fire Wire before starts the editing jobs... and rendering the works... in rendering task i took about few hours to complete a rendering for my 30 minit footage...

1) What the advantage when we using a capture card e.g. Canopus DvRex, Matrox etc.?

2) How the Quality of Works using a capture card

3) Time saving Using the capture cards

Please help and advised...
