Ok, firstly when i changed from 1 mbps RM 88 basic -> BB deals.....
From here onwards, it goes offtopic and long so I decided to make it as a "spoiler"

So after my LOOONG rant, back to topic, I want a new router only (modem i can use old Aztech DSL605E)...
My needs:
1. Wireless N 300Mbps with a decently solid and RELIABLE coverage
2. Stable -NO DISCONNECTING, failing, etc.
3. Reliable for semi 24/7 use.... from 9 a.m. - 11.59 p.m. 0800 - 2359
4. UPNP -i think all routers have this except argggghhh the 'new' Innacomm wifi router shitmix gives
5. Has quite simple QOS setup which works.... all 3 Innacomm routers had super complicated QOS.
6. IF POSSIBLE, Gigabit LAN.... so I can do fast backup for the laptop.
7.Budget, lets say RM ~200 is MAX
EDIT: Support custom firmware, dd-wrt...

Had my eyes on the Asus RT-N16, its kick ass but to expensive I wish Asus made it dual band though..... but it still the best....
Now looking at the Asus RT-N13U, looks good, printing ands canning also seems to work with my Multi Function Canon MP 145..... -still on high side in price
EDIT: Now planning to buy the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND and mod it with dd-wrt for print server....

PS: Would be really gratefull if someone give their views on this matter... Cos i really really confused... with sooo many choices for us to choose from...

Wirelles Router

Ok, my friend has problems with his wireless at home. His setup is like this:
Phone Line>Splitter>MODEM>WIRELESS ROUTER>USB ADAPTER.

right now, he says his router is moody (sometimes will NEVER connect to Streamyx). And it also has problems... Until he says I WANT A NEW ONE.
I also lz to help him coz he always tells me never mind the router.... So, pls don't offer me to help him because he himself fed up with his router.

SOLUTION: I want to HELP him buy a new router (no need modem; just router) .

Well, let me tell you what set up my friend uses. Actually his router only in then next room away from his computer, so I HELL won't need a N Router.
Just recommend me one that is affordable, user friendly menu and not Linksys. He needs to P2P, game, normal web surfing.
So, UPNP and DMZ is a must.
