The above Lowyat forum link is to an adobe subscription product that is sold by ibanana

To my findings above after subscribing to the service using his unorthodox method, the subscription was only placed using a trial Key instead of the promised full year annual key

It comes to my attention when the software have alerted the billing information several time, I pointed out to him which he dismisses it as fine, software bug/glitch.

When the trial shown has really ended. All service was terminated, and unable to use.

THE PROBLEM

To me is that, if you have guaranteed the software is working and now it isn't, I would be more than happy if you just refunded me the money

but the fact that he came back saying there's a better method by toping another amount of money is just ridiculous ? just sounds like any other scam out there going for granny

If its the your supplier problem its between you and your supplier,

THE ACTION

I'm taking a further action to be more vocal after series of unmotivated, slow response from this seller promoting me to have this post created.
I'd like his Garage link deleted, or closed until his product is proven legit and workable once more.
Preventing other member to subscribe to it effective immediately.

I recently have added another new air conditioner unit to my kitchen area just a few weeks before the lockdown.
Its a 2.5 LG Dual inverter Thin Q to replace the 1.5 HP Living room Panasonic that wasn't enough to cover the other corner of the kitchen area and hallway

Happy with the performance. when I really need instant cooling, I would just click on the jet function at 16 Degree and it'll deliver, 5 mins after I feel the cooled air and I can work in the kitchen nicely. Now that I cook more and stay at home more due to COVID Lockdown.

My test in March - On the air conditioner with jet mode immediately at startup, turn it off/down when the room feels cold
My test in April - Scheduled Start at 10 am and turn off at 3 am and in the energy-saving mode (40% energy control and fan - 1)

Running this air-cond in energy-saving mode (40% energy control mode) on longer hours, I'm able to get 17 days of usage at 329 KWh energy in April, comparing to the previous month in March where I run much less but mostly in Jet mode setting every time at startup.

Summary

The Inverter function can save as much as 50 % of energy when used correctly, in my test I have found that it is much better to turn the air cond for longer hours to see the energy saved. You can double your runtime, instead of turning it full blast then turning it off again after usage.

I have received my keys not long ago and now I'm in mids of getting the design finalized with an Interior designer. So the goal is to transform this to look expensive though being 850 sqft (3rooms) but still at a good price. Below is the layout plan for my unit for own stay purposes

Would like to know if you have done such similar renovation or know some knowledge about it, would that a good price to pay for such ?

I believe this quotation mostly has be lump sumped, I should bet a breakdown of labour and materials I believe and get another contractor to quote also.

Do share if you have any input, would be great if i can bring it down to 40 % maybe some things would have to go like it or not.
So my budget is RM 100 K la to be honest but i dont mind stretching a bit if it brings pleasure, aesthetics to things that i use and touch every day (others can go El-cheapo)

Dear Lowyat Forumers,

Currently I am using a Single Asus GTX 570 TI Graphic Card to power up 2 Dell 2312HM monitor via DVI connectors for both.

I will be receiving my latest LG C9 OLED TV

Now I am interested to connect the LG monitor as a part of my setup so moving forward I believe that you would need to upgrade your graphic card to run 4k Content on the TV

So some questions here i want to ask :

- Upgrading the graphic card must be done, what graphic card would be good to take advantage of it (GTX ?, RTX ? )
- Having my other 2 old monitor would later need to run Display port to DVI adapter to the monitor, any problem ?
- Currently all the graphic cardi n the market is HDMI 2.0 standard while the tv is HDMI 2.1 ready, should I wait for a new graphc card?

I here have few question on starting up a business with business partner. My business partner is not local but will want to come over to Malaysia soon and live here to start our business.

So I am now currently looking at a shelf company. They are already established company that you can purchase and that can already solve the 2 years requirement.

Is there any cons of getting a shelf company ? Please advice

Hey guys,

Want to ask you if anyone here own an electric scooter (As Picture) ?
I tried one in Barcelona and it was very fun. Thinking of using it to commute back and forth to work with it.

Is there any law that prohibits the use of electric scooter like this one ?
- Googled some discussion anything above >50 kph is considered a motorcycle and you'd need a license

Can I bring this into the country without problems ? Or would I get stopped by the customs ? or at the very least pay some sort of fees ?
