Weird booting problem

Salutations to all fellow LYNers (my 1st post~ wohoo!)

Got some weird booting with my pc..
after "Verifying DMI Pool data(?)" instead of having Windows XP loading screen, it goes blank.. but if i've inserted cd into my cdrom drive, and restart again.. it boots up normally.. now, its a routine to have a cd in my cd drive to boot my pc.. what the hells wrong with my pc??!!! for the first time it happens, i (hdd, ram, gc n sc) reconnect everything (ended up burning all my ram~lesson learned(")

help me guys~gagagagaga....
