Madani gov secretly increase income tax bracket?

I noticed the tax bracket category G (101k to 400k annual income) is now under the 25% bracket for the year 2023.

In the year 2022 tax bracket, category G (101k to 200k annual income) was under the 24% tax bracket and 201k to 400k annual income was in 24.5% tax bracket.

I'm checking in LDHN website https://www.hasil.gov.my/en/individual/indi...ncome/tax-rate/

So, this is a 1% increase of the income tax for those in category G!

How come Madani man never announce this income tax change in the last budget announcement????

Anyone aware of this change?
