Enabling wireless backing up of image and video files from Canon cameras and camcorders, the Connect Station CS100 is a media hub designed for storing, managing, and viewing your multimedia content. Featuring a built-in 1TB drive, this storage device is able to back-up approximately 150,000 photos or 70 hours of video from your camera, with the convenience of syncing your device via NFC or over Wi-Fi. Once the content has been loaded into the CS100, you can browse, manage, sort, and view your files using an intuitive menu system. Playback is supported via HDMI. Wireless printing is possible to compatible PIXMA/SELPHY printers, and imagery can be downloaded to PCs or smart devices via a web browser. The CS100 offers both convenience and practicality in how to import, view, and export your imagery.

The built-in 1TB of storage is able to hold approximately 150,000 photos or approximately 70 hours of video.

NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity allow you to simply tap your NFC-enabled Canon camera to the device in order to automatically transfer photos and movies over Wi-Fi. For cameras without built-in Wi-Fi or NFC, a USB 2.0 port and both CF and SD card slots are also available for importing content.

For large-scale playback on an HDTV or monitor, an HDMI out port can be used to preview your imagery. The photos' full resolution is maintained during playback as well as the smooth playback from high bitrate video formats. Additionally, the included remote control (CS-RC1) permits simple, wireless control over playback and file navigation.

Files are automatically sorted by date (month/year) or by the specific shooting device. For further refinement, an easy-to-navigate menu structure allows you to create albums for more personalized sorting.

Wireless printing is supported from the CS100, which is fully compatible with PictBridge and wireless LAN-enabled PIXMA, SELPHY, or other compatible printers.

Accessible via a web browser on smartphones, tablets, or PCs, the contents of the CS100 can also be viewed or downloaded to other devices. Furthermore, imagery can be imported from smart devices, and compatible Android devices will automatically connect without the need to manually launch the web browser interface.

Seamless and wireless file transferring between two Connect Stations is possible, as well as the ability to share directly to social networks via the Canon iMAGE GATEWAY.

The following file formats are supported by the CS100:

The contents of the CS100 can securely be offloaded to another external hard drive via USB connection for backing up your photo and video library.

Hi,

just wondering if a rx560 will work with just the power of the PCI-e if it was designed with a six pin included?

A normal rx560 would just be fine with the pci giving power but does a 6 pin connector maybe affect the way the card is powered? Or maybe the 6 pin is only needed when you want to "OC" the card?

Canon 80D with 18-55mm or EFS 10-18mm

I am buying a new Canon 80D but stuck between buying with the lens kit included or just the body but add on the 10-18mm lens. I am looking for a good lens with quite a wide angle for videography. Just mostly going to record myself talking and such. I heard that the 18-55mm for the 80D has been much improved from the previous though.

What do you think? Should I get the kit lens or just forgo it completely for the 10-18mm?

I heard that you can't be a driver for both apps. Just one or the other. Is there really a term stating that you can't do both?

Also heard if you are just starting..try grab, then uber because when you stop uber you can start back grab..but if you start uber first then stop, they won't allow you to drive back

I'm hoping to upgrade to the following:

GSKILL AEGIS 8GB DDR3(rm159) + current RAM
2TB Desktop SSHD(rm429) + current drives
Dell 24" SE2417HG (rm559)
COOLERMASTER Master Case 5(rm479)

Total: RM 1626 (Idealtech pricing)

Therefore I have another RM1374 to spring on a new GPU. Is the Asus STRIX-GTX960-DC2OC-4GD5 a good buy? (rm1189). or maybe the Zotac GTX 1060 AMP Edition (RM1399). I was hoping for the RX480 but the pricing in Malaysia seems to be way off from the US suggested pricing (USD200~) with the XFX Radeon RX 480 CORE 8GB GDDR5 being RM1299 (I know the 4gb models should be cheaper but can't find it anywhere.)

Maybe I should wait for more RX480 options to be available. I am not really rushing to get this new upgraded system

Also will there be any bottleneck issues with my CPU? I am hoping to run triple A titles(Crysis, etc) quite smoothly with medium to high settings. Would my PSU also carry enough power for the system?
