HELP! yesterday night after i tear out my core i7 and leave it out for cool down, and replug in again, these things happen:

1. power cannot start.
2. power start, fans moving, 4 seconds power off!
3. power start, fans moving, 4 seconds power off, TILT GRAPHIC CARD UP ABIT, power on, release, power off!
4. PSU LED not blinking (Cooler Master usually switch on the LED shines)
5. the most it boots till run mem test, and power off again!

please advice what should i do? is it power failure (i didnt plug in my monitor, usb, anything), core i7 capputted, 9800gtx dk spoil, or just poor wire management?

Hi all.

As the description says, I wanted to build a GAMING PC with a very tight budget (RM 3200 max)... reason being that my current machine is 3 years old and it just can't play new games! (how to play new game with only 1gb ram leh )

Ok, here is what I looking for:

1. New processor (preferably quad core or core i7)
2. a MOBO (i really don't know how to choose the most suitable MOBO, not too expensive yet is upgradable next time )
3. 3 or 4gb DRR3
4. 500-750gb hdd.
5. a mid to good range graphic card (i read from forums, they suggested ati 4850 OR nvidia 9800GT).
6. power supply.

Others, such as keyboard, mouse, card-reader, speakers i still use back my old machine 1.

I left out sound card cause i read from forums that nowadays integrated sound cards already comes with a high quality sound. I am not particular about sound quality. I will be wearing a headphone all the time anyway.

As for monitor, since my budget is already that tight, I am forced to stuck with my good ol' Dell 17" LCD... I might only be buying a wider 1 by October this year.

Please everyone. Please come out with suggestion how to I fill my RM3200 budget on the 6 items above.

I mainly use my computer to play games. I want to try out Warhammer, WoW and other mmorpg for a long, long time already. I am already very sick of DotA-ing every night. ^^
