Side Mirror Contact in traffic

If in traffic and side mirrors come in contact, do I need to stop and exchange information? Does it count as an accident?

There is no paint transfer but there is a rubbing mark
The mirror folded in, no damage to electronics or mounting

Not sure about the guy but he merged and in standstill traffic did not come out to discuss.

So for future reference what should be done? Would the guy make a police report - should I have?

[WTA] Minor Traffic Accident

This morning got into a minor accident. Was cutting into right lane, signal on to merge, there is big space so start to move in. Then this guy zoomed straight to fill the space. He was on his Blackberry, one hand case + one hand phone, which one driving then seriously. Thought only the mirror kena but he stopped, got out of his car and said there was a scratch down the side of his car.

There is a scrape but minor imo - not down to the paint. His car was very dusty also but from what dust scraped off it looked like it wasn't too bad. It is on the side door front and back. Ours was only the wheel well, not very noticeable but can feel a little.

So .. this is my first traffic accident of any kind. My husband was driving too so not really mine but it is my car Anyway am worried a little

1. This guy is a lawyer. He kept threatening "Do you want me to go make police report ah?". Eventually after talking then he say no need police report as it is minor. I told him get an estimate to polish/buff OR fix the doors and let me know. But can I trust him to not make police report? Should I still do one to guard myself anyways (my dad is insisting yes esp as he is a lawyer). Like I said the damage to my car is minor - that i think the police prob can't see anything if I go make report, and laugh it off. His also it seems minor. He took a ton of pics and I took a few as well.

2. If Shah Alam, Glenmarie .. where is closest to make report?

3. If scraping car like that who is in the right? He because it is his lane - even though he zoom to 'fill the gap' during jam?

Jerks when put in R

2006 Waja Campro 1.6E (Auto)

When pulling car into driveway quite slowly just from across road to inside heard a loud "pop". After that whenever put into "R" there will be a huge jerk - other gears okay. When taking it to drive down the street only, the gear seems to be stuck in one mode and does not sound right. The speedometer is at "0" and does not move when driving.

Did not want to risk driving it so will be towed to service centre. Any idea what could have happened? Hope it's not the transmission or gearbox!

[WTA] - 2nd Console

Is there any reason you would ever get a 2nd console? Like if you have a PS3 would you get an Xbox 360 and if you had a 360 would you get a PS3?

What are the benefits of one over the other especially in terms of games available - both seem to mostly have the same titles to me.

I currently have a 360 but have been thinking about a PS3.

#1 - I haven't gone on Xbox Live because I've tried configuring it but it does not work - it should be simple but apparently not. Also paying $300+ for wireless adaptor (which may or may not work) is waste of money. The Wii setup was plug & place sort of easy. The PS3 would be similar from what I've heard.

#2 - Blu-Ray

#3 - Some game titles that are PS3 exclusive only - but there's not a particular title i really want or can think about

#4 - PS3 games are easier to find here compared to only at 1 shop where we go for 360 games. Only original games required.

And that's about it. So what do you think would it be a waste of money to buy another console just for these reasons?
