How to handle property developer lower the price

I've purchased a unit during the initial offering but recently the property dev started lowering the price and throwing in tons of goodies and discount.

as an existing buyer, is there anything that I can do?

The property is located in Penang.

i've googled around and have found three related posting, one from this awesome site! on selling cars straight to buyers.

as the posts are in 2008, i'm a bit worry on what has changed since then?

a little bit about my situation, i currently have a buyer, and i'm going home and have two full working days to get the everything done hopefully.

i've been told that i need to first go to puspakom, get it checked for transfer ownership, get a receipt, then proceed to go to the bank with the buyer to clear my loan, then there's some confusing part about having the bank runner's to do something about jpj, then only after they've done whatever they're doing, i can proceed to go to jpj to do a full ownership transfer to the new buyer?

and also i've just paid for my insurance back in may, so how do i get a refund?

as it seems to be very different from what i'm reading in the post, hence i'm hoping some wise readers here can help me? i know this information will be useful as it's hard to find
