Recommend earphones please

Hi all,

I'm looking for a wireless earphone. Current ones that my friends have recommended are Samsung Galaxy Buds PRO and Buds2. I was currently using One Plus Buds Z but the battery life is very bad now. Right side lasts like less than 30mins while the left lasts maybe 1.5 hours.

Could you recommend me others? Budget below 800, trying not to change frequently.

Also, what's the difference with original and import set? Like does it matter at all?

Final Fantasy designer passed away

Late developer worked on characters, battle effects and environments for some of Square Enix’s most popular RPG titles

Manabu Daishima, a Square Enix designer who contributed to some of the studio’s best-known RPGs, has passed away.

During his time at Squaresoft (which later became Square Enix), Daishima worked on titles such as Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and Parasite Eve, as well as multiple Final Fantasy entries including IX, XII and VII spin-off Dirge of Cerberus.

Across the titles, he worked on design elements as diverse as monsters, maps and worlds (both 2D and 3D), backgrounds, battle effects and field graphics.

The first title Daishima worked on was 1991’s Final Fantasy IV, where he was credited with a special thanks in its credits, and his latest release appears to have been 2010’s The 3rd Birthday, on which he served as a backgrounds graphics artist.

Daishima was diving offshore from Ito, Japan with two companions on July 30th when he lost consciousness four metres beneath the surface. He was pulled to shore and taken to hospital, but sadly was later confirmed dead. Police are to investigate the cause of his death, according to Japanese news outlet Mainichi (via Kotaku).

He was just 45 years old.

In light of the spm exams, i give you something i found in my email today. Yes i know this is more of a Jokes Heaven thing..but i think /k/ deserves it.

The objective of SPM is to pass people?

How do you explain the fact that 87% of the students passed the exams
of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) recently, when during your father's time only 10% would have passed?

Are students getting smarter? Or are SPM questions getting easier?

Let me put things in their proper perspective.

During your grandfather's time, they would ask exam questions like:
"In what year did Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka ?"

The correct answer was "1402", and they found that only 10% of the students managed to answer the question correctly. This didn't go down too well with the authorities, because the objective of the exams was to pass people.

I mean, what's the point of having exams if people fail?

So later, they found another way to ask the same question:

"Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka in the year:
(a) 2001
(b) 2004
© 1986
(d) 1975
(e) 1402
Tick the correct answer."

The results were better in that 20% of the students passed. But it was
still not good enough, so the authorities tried a different tactic a few
years later.

"Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka in the year 1402. True or false?"

Well, half of the students guessed "True" and the other half guessed "False".

Fully 50% passed.

The results were getting pretty acceptable by now but still not good enough.
Most other countries would be satisfied with a 50% passing rate, but not us.

We are a better country, because we are a boleh country. The authorities then cracked their heads and then came out with this one:

Read the following sentence carefully.

"Parameswara, the cousin of Proton-Iswara, founded the kingdom of Melaka
in the year 1402. Underline the name of the person who founded Melaka."
60% underlined "Parameswara", 30% underlined "Proton-Iswara" and 10%
underlined "1402".

Yeah!!!!.....60% managed to pass! So krever!

But for some reason, the authorities were still not contented. So last year, they came out with this gem:

"One day in the year 1402, Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka .
Then he went home to have dinner. What did he eat?"

13% (smart students) handed in blank answers, 57% wrote "Maggi Mee",
10% wrote " Kentucky Fried Chicken" and 20% wrote "Nasi Lemak".

The correct answer was anything concerning "Food" of course!

After the marking was over, it was found that 87% of the students had passed.

87%!!!!!............now that's pretty impressive!

So it's true.

So now the authorities are very happy that the students are indeed getting smarter?

Well done Boleh-land!

Perhaps, this is why we have a host of students with an impressive string of 'As' who can hardly construct a decent sentence!

Neow mind, our super-duper gomen can find a job for us one.

should be right place i think..

my w580i suddenly wont read my 1gb memory stick. duno y..suddenly only..i actually found this memory stick and it worked for many months already..now..everytime i insert it..my phone wont recognize it at all..it keeps saying memory stick not inserted eventhough it is..and it also prompts me whether i want to format it or not.

its a good thing i still have my 512 mb.

Anyone knows wats wrong?should i format?

this should be in the technical support area i think...

i was using Firefox when suddenly my entire com hanged. i open like 5 tabs?so i force restart and again i open Firefox and it hanged again. so this time i off the entire system and wait around 10 seconds and start again. which brings me here where i can type here. no hang watsoever.

This is like the 2nd time this happen this year. the 1st time was worst..whereby it happen the same thing..only everything i reboot it still hanged every time firefox is opened.

Seems like the only way is to shut entire pc and do from there.

Anyone know why my FF works this way??really random occasion and is annoying.

hey guys..i need help with my printer..hopefully got fast response..

im using canon lbp 3000. this is a new toner bought somewhere around june?but now oni use..

so the problem is..when i print a test page..the words like WINDOWS XP PRINTER TEST PAGE and other stuff appears but a faded WINDOWS XP PRINTER TEST PAGE text also appears around the middle of the page and like the text indicating the files also like kena potong abit at the bottom
