SAP or JAVA

I've seen many post stating that SAP is worth taking up as it promises high figure salary and high demand in market.

But also I've seen replies and post stating that SAP will not be as popular/ high in demand in the future.
ABAPers in particular would be less demand as the market for SAP in msia is already quite 'full'

What about JAVA? Not a profitable... but in the long run the market demand will maintain....
I've also heard that web is something to look forward to be high in demand in the future.

I am pretty stuck at a cross road and hope cn get some advice

Home Loan Period

Hi,
currently my bf is applying for a home loan from the bank and previously stated that the loan period is to be 39 yrs.
if say after the loan is approved and wanna shorten the loan period to 30 yrs, will they have to re-approve the loan again?

also another question...

as far as i know the banker told me something like this.

say on average each month has to pay about 1.5k so aft 39 yrs the total payment to the bank is 702000.
and
say on average each month has to pay about 1.6k so aft 30 yrs the total payment to the bank is 576000.

the total payment to the bank is much more with the xtra 9 years.
urm. so say if the loan period is not changeable which is 39 yrs ... the amount that is paid to the bank must add up to this sum 702000 ? no matter how over how many years you used to clear off the loan?

my bf is a 1st time buyer and neither do I have any idea of how these loan stuff goes... so jz hope some1 could explain to me clearer?

I want to know right, lets say my web page has a frame and when i click on the menu,
a.jsp/b.jsp/c.jsp loads within the frame.

currently all the frame has different doctype.
actually is the doctype really needed in each individual frame ?

I currently have 2 job offers already.

Then nexbis called me up to go for an interview. they sounded so promising in a way. But still thinking if I should go for the interview.
anyone can brief me on hw is the environment there? bonus? any training provided? allowance? benefits?

I need to come to a conclusion soon as I have to reply to my job offers very also >.<
if i choose to go for the interview I would have to like kinda ask them to give me more time to think about the offer ?

I currently got 2 job offers which I have to make a decision by monday.
just hope probably some of you have worked in both or either one company so I can have a better insight of what I will be facing.

the position i applied for MTS is Oracle PL/SQL Developer but the EXTENDED (why did the HR tell me extend?) my offer to a analyst programmer I still dont have what idea of what programming language I will be dealing with either... but I am guessing SQL + Oracle still? any1 has any idea?

The position i am offered in N2N is software engineer by which I can actually learn a new language.

As for other things in terms of bonus, benefits and all.... and also if the company provides what type of training etc. I am also I can get some idea from you guys

MTS seems to try to bond you down once you start working for them with all the freshie training and also once they send u off for training u are then bonded to the company for another 2 years.

another thgs that concerns me is the parking at both places. as for N2N i knw that they have something like season pass which is quite reasonably priced. but for MTS i heard from the interviewer that it's rm9 per day even with season pass or some sort? or is there some other parking nearby that you guys can suggest?

oh by the way, I am just a fresh graduate now.
so I am kinda stuck.

and let's say if i were to reject one of the company which I have to.... how shud i reject it politely so that in case in the future I wanna apply for a job back in the company .... and they wouldnt like reject me because I rejected them before.

just kinda wondering....
MTS offered me a job within 2 days but N2N took like almost a week. Does this means like I was a last choice to N2N? just curious anyway XD

I am a fresh graduate of B. of Science (comp sci and software engineering) graduated 1 mth and still jobless

Initially I was kinda stuck between continuing masters and also working and I decided to work and now I am kinda stuck between which field of IT to go into.

I enjoy programming but I dislike doing the paperwork , too many formats... >.< and I always worry I would write the wrong thing in the paper.
I miss crunching up numbers but I suppose there isn't a field which deals with a lot of mathematical calculation right? Mebe networking? But I find networking kinda a dull subject tho.

I realize most people in IT sector tend to have at least CCNA which is a networking professional cert. Is it a must to get?

oh~ and i suppose software engineers/ programmers (in malaysia) wont be doin shift jobs right?

PHP Write to text file

Hi, i am trying to write a large amount of data into a text file.
but wad happens when i open the text file a lot of data is kinda like lost.
it is suppose to be a long text file which i could probably scoll for 40s?

i am using PHP.

but when converted into SQL... i get syntax error....

i am tryin to do like urm... when u click on the value...
then the function passes the value to the javascript function.

so far i only got it to work...
ONLY when the value is numbers... when it is string... then i get in the error console... the value is not defined...

Windows VIsta Lags T_T

As state in topic...
I've been using my vista for more than a year...
and recently... i has been freezing ... on average 3 times a day... without me even doin anythjng... and i have no other choice but to crash off it everytime... as i cant even run my task manager...

then i resorted to setting my laptop back to factory settings...
but the problem still persisted... not as bad... but it lags and the cpu usage goes up to 100%...
and recently... my graphic driver keeps crashing and then restore back.. but the whole thing turns laggy again... and i have to restart....

oh ya... 2 weeks ago my adapter died... so i got a replacement... it's also original adapter from hp...
i dont usually run on my battery... i plug in all the time...
and i realised sometimes it turns lag once i plug in... has the adapter got something to do with this?
need help urgently... this is killing me T_T

HP Pavillion dv3500 (model dv3611tx) i dont actually noe which one is the model number... the dv3500 is when i c the system properties thru my comp... 3611 is based on the sticker on the bottom of my laptop...

Severe forearm pain

hope u guys can help... this pain is really killing me >.<

the pain starts from mid of the forearm to the wrist and my thumb... the pain sometimes extends to my thumb too...
it started with very severe pain yesterday afternoon...
the pain in on my left arm ... i dont really do much work with my left arm... i am a right-hander...
the only way i can make the pain subside a little is to apply heat over the spot ... exposure to cold makes the area pain and numb...
pinching the skin and flesh(whichever way to put it) somehow doesnt trigger the pain... there is no signs of swelling or wad sort...

this pain is stopping me from doin anythin including sweeping the floor to carrying a bag of tissue paper...
even stretching my arm straight triggers the pain...
wad could the cause be to this kinda pain?

nid help...

my finals is jz 1 day away and i dont wanna spend time to hit the hosp for a checkup...
is there anyway to relief the pain entirely for like say 2 days... >.<

I'm still tryin to make a final decision between these two uni...

The course that taylors offer is a twinning course from RMIT
while the course from swinburne is ... well the university's own course...

the difference is...
swinburne offers Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Software Engineering)
while Taylors (RMIT) offers Bachelor in Software Engineering
Does the title matters that much?

both are Australian uni...

Is any1 attending the courses at the institutions above? Opinions PLS >.<

Oh ya, isit compulsory for me to have my ielts results for me to enter the course offered in Taylors?

but then i cant seem to copy anything to the pendrive?
i checked and noticed that there's a 12-bit partition or something like so there~ is there anyway i can get rid of it?

and my smart bro went and formatted the pendrive >.<

Comp sys Engineering and software engineering

I'm a student who's taking engineering.. currently 1st yr (common yr)

I dont really noe wad field of engineering to major in yr 2
the closest that suits my preference right now is Electrical and Computer systems engineering.
I personally prefer to do software stuffz instead of hardware and i have a little background in programming ..java,VB,etc.
wouldnt mind studyin a bit of hardware stuff..but seriously lose interest when it becomes too detailed...

should i change to software engineering?
is there any university that offers software engineering? Is swinburne university in sarawak good?
I'm seriously in dilemma right now

Hope that you guys can help me out...
main thing is to noe the difference btw the two , pro and cons~
