setting up private network tower

Hi. Im working at very rural area where network signal is poor. Maxis and Celcom so far can make calls at certain position, but often poor line quality. Internet wise, can get G or E if go higher ground.

To approach the network provider may not be fruitful, as the users probably not many to compensate the cost of erecting a tower in that area.

But is it possible to set up a private tower/roof top antenna that would improve the network connectivity? any company that provides this sort of service? or, to approach maxis/celcom itself?

please share any info. thank you.

[WTA] using usb broadband modem with a 100m usb ca

My area has very weak signal reception for data. Even with a gsm booster, im unable to improve. The signal is not stable. But i can get better reception at a small hill just behind my office. So im planning to use usb broadband modem with a 100m usb cable.

Would the distance and length of usb cable affect the performance, assuming I'm getting stable 2g/edge connection?

excessive, smelly fart problem

My problem is simple. I keep farting everyday, almost 24/7. Mostly, its the quiet and smelly fart. Probably due to my constipation problem. Its been happening for the past 6 months. At this point, i am considering this to be some sort of disease. Need advice before i proceed to specialist clinic. Im taking 10mg bisacodyl before sleep to induce bowel movement. Even then sometimes in the morning, there is bowel movement, but hardly anything comes out.

I've had gastric problems before, so but its uncommon to have farting along the way. This only started around June 2014. No changes in my diet. But i did take weight gain supplement for 2 months in June and July. I stopped since i had no time for gym. Other than this, there were no significant changes in my diet. Nothing that lasted all these months, and impact my digestion to such extend.

What could be the problem?

MC on Rest Day, need clarification

Our company operates 24/7, in a very remote place. Due to the nature of ongoing working environment, the workers are allowed to carry forward/accumulate their weekly rest day(sunday) and clear end of the month.

Recently, an employee applied for 5 days off. on his 2nd rest day, he obtained 2 days MC and returned to work on 7th day. Can he use mc to offset his rest days, and take longer leave?

Based on employment act, MC on rest day is not acceptable and will not be entitled to replacement. But would it be still the same for our case, where the rest days are not on sunday but carried forward to a latter date?

My fren joined Bank Islam on 2nd January. He go the jb through a recruitment firm for programmer position. he's offer letter stated job position as Assistant Manager, and Department as IT. and was told that they will be position him as q-net programmer for many in-house projects.

The issue is now,

1. he was recruited as Q net programmer, given the full impression that he'll be working as programmer emphasizing on q-net projects.
2. upon joining 2 days ago, he found that he's job scope is on maintenance and routine troubleshoot of the bank software which was based on q-net.
3. his superiors and department manager acknowledges that they do not do programming works, unless there are mini projects from corporate clients from time to time which is out-sourced to other technical firms.
4. he contacted recruitment firm, who also confirmed that the bank was specifically looking for q-net programmers.

So he wants to serve a 24hours notice today, on reason that he was joined under the impression that he will be working on programming tasks and not monitoring tasks. the bank and recruitment firm falsely advertised the position, and even made false claims when he signed the offer letter by telling that they are doing many programming projects and that he is hired to complement those projects. but in reality, he is required to do only monitoring tasks for 2 banking softwares that they are using currently.

The job offer letter had a clause stating
QUOTE

Bonding period: You are hereby required to serve bank for a period of at least 2 years. Play like this untill we conquer each and every nation on the map and defeat all opposing enemy.

any idea wat game is this?

Unable to play CS on dd-wrt firmware

i cnt view any multiplayer game on my LAN even though my friends are playing CS.

i tried change the firmware of my WRT54GL frm dd-wrt to Linksys and Tomato. It seems both working well. But i dont understand y i cant play by using DDWRT

only me using LAN connection while others are on WLAN. So is there any settings which i can do to manually allow CS connection?

i disabled firewall, QOS and even set DMZ for my pc with static IP address. Still, only me unable to view any server on same LAN network.

help and comments appreciated. tq

replacing CISS ink cartridge

i just wanna ask how to replace da cartridge? i bought da printer 2 years ago. But now i think da cartrige rosak ady. Printer cnt detect da cartridge. If i replace with a new one, can print.

So now i wanna hook up da ink tube to da new cartridge. How should i go about it? Should i wait till da cartridge becume empty, or should i just make da hole, and hook up da tubes now itself? i had to replace both colour and black.

i cud just refill abit n abit like normal cartridge, but its still kind of waste since i still got plenty of ink in da CISS container.

comments welcomed. tnx for your input.
