Leaving after Increment

Hi sifus. I need your opinion on something.

I've been working in this foreign Oil and gas contractor (Company A) based in KL for almost 2 years as a Project Engineer. Recently, I've been offered a position as a Mechanical Engineer doing FEED for Company B. Company B is quite a reputable company offering many benefits and has great prospects. Company A is not bad as well doing offshore jobs for top operators around the world. Company B offers 40% more than what I earn now. Today, I found out that my current company increased my salary by another 40%, which matches the company B offer.

The reason why company A increase the salary and package is because my colleagues (2-3 of us) make noise on how we aren't treated fairly compared to other regions it operates. We have been waiting for more than half a year and only now got confirmation that we have salary increment and a better offshore package. I was fed up already and luckily, I've been offered a job elsewhere. I want to do something out of offshore as well. I've been asking my current boss that I want to be transferred to the design and analysis department for a year or more so that I understand the offshore activities from its roots (to understand what my field is doing, you need a good experience on theory i.e doing software analysis and calculation). I'm not getting that.

So now, after this much explanation and considering the package, IS IT CONSIDERED RUDE/BAD FOR ME TO LEAVE AFTER COMPANY A HAS OFFERED ME AN INCREMENT??? I want to leave on good terms as they might want me to join them later (who knows?). I'm currently more on leaning to 40% leave, 35% stay, 25% keep on searching.

Has anyone of you left a company after getting a counter offer/increment?

I played badminton on wednesday after almost 10 years stopped.
I didn't stretch. And now I'm feeling the aftermath.

Hi everyone.

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to post this topic. But anyway, here goes my question.
Has anyone here inserted small amounts of cash through mail to be sent overseas? And is it safe?
I'm having lots of doubts of doing so. I want to send about $100 to a friend of mine who is in the
states. So I plan to insert the $100 bill, between 3 pages of
A4 sized letters. Do the customs scan what is in the envelope? And if they do, does the $100 bill show
up on the monitor of the scanner? Money transfer probably is not a suitable choice for me because they
impose certain charges which is quite expensive. That's my question. Thank you all.

Computerized Automobile Testing

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this channel so I don't know which thread I should go to discuss my topic here. So, thousand apologies.

I was wondering, is there any workshops here in KL or Selangor, Singapore that provides Computerized Automobile Testing?
If there is, what is the name of the workshop?

'Computerized Automobile Testing' - efficiency, acceleration, speed, fuel comsumption, etc can be analyzed through a computer.

More specifically, I'm more concerned with KERS technology. Hybrids (electrical KERS), mechanical KERS (flywheel), hydraulic KERS (such as in the UPS trucks).
I would like to see which of these three KERS system is the best in terms of efficiency, etc. If the workshops aren't equipped for KERS testing (it could just be brief/rudimentary testing.....it's fine with me), I just need to know the workshops available for the other vehicle performance testings I've noted above.
