Question for home water pump and water filter?

I live in a landed double storey terrace house (~10 yr old house) in Shah Alam/Klang area, moved in not too long ago and first time home-owner. Very noob.

Let me split this question to 2 parts.

Part 1 - Water Pump:

I find that the water pressure in my house (most importantly outside garden area water outlet, kitchen sinks, toilet bidet, shower) is quite low. Even some contractors who come to my house and fix some things told me this, and apparently nothing much I can do except install water pump.

So, my question what kind of water pump do I need? Do I need to install 1 outside my house? Do I also need to install 1 inside my house since there is a water tank? (I think there is, because when there are water cuts, I can still get water in my toilets even though kitchen no more water).

How are they powered, do I need to do wiring and install new switches somewhere?

Also, any recommendations for water pump? I've been suggested Tsunami before, but never really looked deeper than that (because I don't know what I need).

1 recent problem I've been having also is that stray cats have been coming and leaving their poop at my house. My outdoor hose water pressure is low, so cleaning this is a hassle.

Part 2 - Water Filter:
I plan to install water filter to clean whole house water, because I have eczema (which only started a few months after I moved in this house) and I suspect maybe its because the shower water is unfiltered. I was looking at Nesh, and they recommend for me to install the water pump first before filter.

Any recommendations on water filters? I don't really want to spend a bomb (Nesh is between 2k-3k roughly). They told me filter replacement 5-7 years with proper maintenance, which is between 700-1k. I also browse here and saw some people combo their filters with the cheap 10" PP filter because it apparently helps the filter last longer?

Myvi Gen 1 Rim Size

Sorry a bit noob here and want to know your opinions.

I am planning to change my Myvi SE1 rims, but I'm not sure if I should remain 14-inch or increase to 15-inch.

Can someone tell me what will the difference be if I increase to 15-inch? Is it worth changing or remain to 14-inch is also okay?

Budget Electric Guitar Under RM500?

Looking to get a guitar for my (girl)friend, as she's interested to start playing. But what's a good electric guitar to start with, under RM500?

Was wondering if Squier Strats/Teles or Epi LPs can get for that price. Perhaps 2nd hand. If you guys can recommend cheaper, but "okay" sounding (maybe can upgrade pups in the future) brands but generally Strat/Tele/LP shaped guitars, that would be cool.

Pedal Power Supply?

Hi guys, I'm very new to the world of pedals and pedal power supplies. I finally want to get a proper power supply unit to mount under my pedaltrain jr. I was set on getting the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ (mainly due to great reviews and a lot of people swear by it, plus the sag functions), but it seems it's out of stock everywhere. 2 places told me they'll only restock in June.

So my question is, what are other power supplies that are as good and available here? As far as I know there's CIOKS, T-Rex and the Voodoo Lab 4x4. I'm not sure what to consider when buying a pedal power supply as well, so if someone could guide me, that'd be awesome.

Is it possible to bring electric guitar on flight?

Hi guys, I'm planning to get a Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Thinline in US, probably with a soft gig bag.
Is it possible to bring this on the plane? If at all possible I don't wanna check it in, because I know someone who checked his guitar in a hardcase and it came back broken.

According to info online it weighs about 13-14 pounds (rounded up to about 7 kg) without the gig bag, and probably will be flying MAS.

Anyone with experience with this?

Thinking about changing pickups, need suggestions!

Hey guys!

So I own an LTD Viper-10 and I was thinking of changing my pickups to play some heavier music. I was thinking of Seymour Duncan Invaders, but would it make a significant change? Should I even bother changing?

I'm gonna play stuff like Avenged Sevenfold (obviously), Killswitch Engage, Trivium, BMTH, stuff like that.

UPDATE:
Wow it's been 3 years and I still haven't changed my pickups.

So to recap, I'm looking to change the stock pickups on my LTD Viper 10. Lately I find that I've been playing a lot of djent music (Periphery, Veil Of Maya, Issues (I think they count as djent, just lighter)), and right now my setup is the guitar, to a TS9, straight to the Marshall MG250DFX on the distortion channel.

My main goal is basically to do a refurbish of this guitar, as this year is my 10 year anniversary with it. I plan on changing the pickups, tuners, bridge and pots to gold.

That being said, I'm strongly considering the Dimarzio Titans set. It's a signature set by Jake Bowen from Periphery, so pretty sure I can get some djent from it. Bonus is that it's gold lol. But what do you guys think? Is there anything I need to know about replacing pickups as well? Such as would the Titans fit in my guitar, and since the pickups can do coil splitting is there any other hardware changes I need to do? Like do I have to change the pots so it can split coils, or change the pickup switch to a 3 way to a 5 way?

Here are the specs of my LTD Viper -10:
- Agathis Body Material (I know in the newer models they use basswood, but I got mine circa 2006 so I'm sorta sure mine is agathis)
- Maple Thin-U Bolt-on Neck
- 24 Fret, Rosewood Fingerboard
- Two ESP LH-100 Humbuckers
- Tune O Matic Bridge and Tailpiece

About Windows Marketplace Malaysia, now that it's been well over a year since we've had it here I have some questions about it:

1. What are the limitations/drawbacks of setting region to Malaysia?

2. Does it support operator billing already?

3. Do we get all the apps available? I remember when we just got it last time some people say there are some apps not available for our country, things like that.

4. Any issues with XBox Live?

5. During music playback with Zune, does the lock screen show album art or artist profile? (This happened when I set my region to US when I FIRST got my WP. When I changed to Singapore no more.)

Or any other problems I didn't mention?

[WTA] Acoustic Guitar Pickups?

Hi guys.
I was just wondering, is the Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural I pickup available in Malaysia?
I was doing some reading, and I found that John Mayer's signature acoustic guitar, Martin OM-JM uses the Martin Gold Plus Natural 1, and from what I've read it's the same Fishman pickup with a different name. I'm looking for this pickup in particular because i LOVE the tone.
If it is available here, does anyone know how much it goes for? Or are there any better/similar models? Generally i want something that sounds as natural as possible, if that makes sense.

And another thing, I noticed that the OM-JM doesn't seem to have a pre-amp, or at least not that I can see. Is it possible for an acoustic with pick up not to have a pre-amp?

Of course there's Monster's Beats series by Dr Dre. They look amazing, for sure but as I'm sure a lot of people know, the sound.. well let's just say not worth the price.

Audio Interfaces?

So i wanna get started on recording at home, and i'm on a tight budget. But i have more or less figured out what to buy.

-Samson c03 condenser mic
-Lexicon Alpha audio interface
-Behringer MIC200 preamp

The Lexicon Alpha costs about 500. And i'm getting the preamp as the Alpha does not supply phantom power, which is about another 200+. Is there any other audio interface that does supply phantom power and is cheaper?

Also, thing is, while i was reading up on the Lexicon, i read that the user's Behringer c3 mic couldnt get a strong signal on the Lexicon Lambda, because of the impendance. However the Behringer c2 works fine.

So by looking at the things i'm getting, will the same problem occur to me? Or will i encounter different problems? Any help is much appreciated.

SO here's the thing. I wanna start recording music/videos and posting them on youtube. A lot like Tyler Ward or Alex Goot etc etc.

I already have some stuff figured out. I'm planning to get a Behringer c1u (which is a usb condenser mic) with a shock mount,pop shield and stand.all and all it would cost almost RM700.

Also,i plan on using Audacity as i want to record one track by one (like first acoustic guitar,then maybe piano or other instruments,followed by vocals) .

My question is, am I on the right track here? I need some expert help on this as I'm just starting. Tried reading other topics but none really tell me what i want to know.

Also,can i get something better for that price? Where else can I purchase what I need? I plan on buying from a user here but i'm curious to know what shop(s) sells them as well.

Is there anything else I should know as well? Any help,suggestions or ideas will be MUCH appreciated.
