K618i & Celcom 3G Connection issues.

Hi,

Hope some sifu can help me. I am so frustrated feel like throwing this phone out the window!

I registered for a Celcom line on Thursday for unlimited 88 3G Access but after configuring the phone (few times by phone helpdesk & at center) they still cant figure out wats wrong.

I cant send MMS or go browse the internet. According to celcom ppl my 3 G settings are ok. I keep getting connection error pls contact operator.

I am lost of what to do except cancel the line and throw away the phone....haiz....

Anyone ecountered this problem with this phone? By the way, I am from seremban.....maybe this problem only happen in seremban??

[WTA] HTPC Cooling - Noise / Heat factor

Hi,

I build a simple htpc with 7600gt card and AMD3200 64 and a cooler master atcs desktop casing. Casing has a one small fan like normal desktop.

The issue is after awhile it get noisy...very loud fan noise....I am not sure whiteher is the casing fan, gpu or cpu fan...

I want to leave it on 24/7 but it also makes the hall hot.

So any solution for:-

1. Noisy fan
2. Heat.

Some forummers suggest Aqua Gate Mini but I saw the fam its bigger. Will this cause more noise plus make room hotter...?

Anyone with a water cooling faq?

Hi,

I got my pinacle tv card working and got astro working from pinnacle Media Center. No problems at all. Everything smooth.

But within Microsoft Media Center (on the same OS) it very very slow...sometimes takes 20 mts to load and the TV braadcast is so lagging. ..both video and show is lagging...

I dunno what is causing the problem? drivers? software conflict?

Please help...thank you.

I have a Wide screen LCD TV and have connected my laptop to it. I want to display a wide screen dvd using window media player without the black bars but dunno how to do it.

Must I change resolution? Currently on 1024 x 860...

I downloaded coolbits 2 and tried overlcocking my 6600 agp. Howver It only lets me increase by 1 mhz....

default clock speed is 300mhz....overclocked is 301mhz....so miserable....

I read through the forum but cant find anything useful.....did I miss out anything?

Any tips?

[WTA] Surround Speakers Sound Level

I recently bought a 6.1 Home Theatre Set and notice that I cant actually hear the sound produce by the left , right and back surround speakers when at my sitting postion?

Most of the sound comes from the center, main right & left speakers. The surround speakers dont seem to produce a loud enough sound for me to notice them.

Is this normal? I have to place my head near the surround speakers to actually hear it is working...

Do I need to do anything to improve the sound?

I also having the same problem with my 12 inch woofer....the first time I connect in to my av receiver I actuallty thought i was spoilt as I couldnt hear anything until I touch the speaker and notice it was moving....

Now am actually wondering if I have a hearing problem....
