Door Installer toadjust wooden balcony door

Hi guys, would like to enquire any carpenter/door installer do balcony door adjustment, to make it a little shorter, because i want to do floor laminating, and it raise up my floor a little bit and will effect the door if i do not adjust it.
My floor laminating company says this type of door they have no expertise in doing and they dun want to risk it.

Attached is the picture of my balcony door. Do advise if you guys have any recommendation for carpenter. My location is Damansara Damai. Thanks

Hi guys, im about to negotiate to purchase a condo directly with the owner. No agent involved currently.
The condo is under master title. Im thinking once if i succesfully negotiate an agreed price with him, what next??
I would like to be prepared and would like to be in control of the negotiations. As this is my 1st property, would like some advise from all the gurus here.

Some of my concern would be
- Lawyers. I should engage my own lawyer and he engage his own lawyer? I heard somewhere that lawyer fees are borne by the purchaser, i also heard that sometimes they split. So what should it be?
- what is the average lawyer fees currently? the property price is about 400k
- What are some of the things that i need to do myself since there is no agent involved, or the lawyer will kau tim most of it?
- what is the best way to go about this process that would be fair for both party?

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
