i'm planning to get one & hook to my dvd player, any1 using it & wats the delay like?

right now, i connect the dvd player to my laptop & use bluesoleil for a2dp output but bcoz it's mic-in, i got mono sound & alot of delay.. at least 250ms (encoding to a2dp??)

I've a linux PC on 192.168.1.8 (a filesharing samba server) and a few winXP (clients) on 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.7

When I ping to 192.168.1.255 from clients, there is a reply from 192.168.1.8 (the linux PC),
then file transfer rate from the samba server drops (from 20MB/s to <500kB/s).

Client to client file transfer rate is still ok. All PCs running on gigabit network.
Linux is running Mandrake 10.1 (patched with latest samba).

Howto make it stop replying to 192.168.1.255 ? Thanks
