House loan vs car loan

I always have this weird idea that getting a house loan is much hard than a car loan. I know banks tend to follow the 1/3 rule but I have heard from many friends that they may be not really that rigid. But the question remains, I am thinking of getting a house first and get a car later. If I get a car first, I would break the 1/3 rule. If I get a house first, I would also break the 1/3 rule but I always have the feeling that car loan are easier to be approved. Am I right?

How to play shares using Maybank2u?

I am interested in trading using Maybank2u and my remisier told me to open a Nominee account. OK so I did that but I am at a lost. He is one uncle and now he claims that he has no idea.

So would like to ask lowyat net sifus how stock trading can be done using Maybank2u. Can I just place an order using MYB2u or do I still have to call my remisier before buying a stock?

A step by step with pictures would be helpful.(f course u can blank out personal details)

Thanks and cheers.

Its either super fantastic or its horrible.

Thats why now I myself feeling mixed and hoping for more feedback on this shop. I have been there before like 5 years ago and wonder if anything has changed. Feedback most welcomed. Thanks.

Scrap Car price

I have a 20+ year old car which I feel like selling off as scrap metal. Size is normal sedan and is a little bigger than a Nissan Sunny 130Y. Some places tell me that I can only get Rm800 but when I read the past news about Proton proposing to give RM5K to ppl who are willing to change their old cars to proton it sure got me thinking about the price, thats why i am asking all the sifus here especially those who have scrpped their car b4.

Thanks and cheeers.

Is Kelana Puteri Apartment a good buy?

I am thinking of getting my own house and I do have a certain fondness of this place due to its location. However, as I am not staying there I may not be aware of many things so I am hoping that forumers who have info on this place can share their experiences with this place.

By the way I noticed that some units are going for RM165K(advetised in newspapers). Is this the market price? This brings me to another question, if an advertisement mentions that a property is going for lets say RM200K are there any other aspects and costs which they have left out? Thanks.

What would consider to be high/good salary?

Actually I was having a chat with my colleague another day and she mentioned that RM5K is a high salary. However, I thought it was a little low and was more inclined to think that RM10K above is considered a good and high salary. What do you guys think?

I know that money is never enough, but sometimes to stop overworking oneself, there has to be some balance. Just drop ur 2 cents. cheers.

* Forgot to mention that it should be per month.
