hi, I added 2GB of DDR2 i think is call SDRAM but the pc hang when boots up with ONLY THE 2GB ram when I remove the 512mb old ram
but when I install back the 512 old ram it boot up, i check bios, it did not detect the 512 but cpuz detect both ram

any ideal?

my laptop shut down just like that for 2 times when I was playing CSO~

I check event log show: The system was shut down due to a critical thermal event.

So what should I do? I already do dusting for the fan but seem like not working, what else can I do? send it back to asus(my laptop manu.)?

Battery problem

I had a battery problem recently, windows 7 show considering change your battery and power drop 100 to 50% in less than 15 minutes.

I try with ubuntu 100% can last me 1 hour+

in ubuntu power statistics show energy when full 19.1Wh, design 49.5Wh, capacity 38.5% so is my battery dead?

is there any other way to test my battery.
