Networking Setup Dilemma

Okay...this how the story goes..

I'm helping my father to setup his office/home networking last year.

This is my setup..

4 PC connected via cable to ALL IN ONE 4 PORT MODEM ROUTER ...don't remember what brand but for sure cap ayam one

My problem is when my father use the computer for surfing and listening to online radio then my oldest sister will had a difficulty to access her friendster webpage or just to logon email acc.It's goes vice versa to my father when my sister use the internet first.

So now i had to settle this problem since both of them keep bashing each other when to use the internet simultaneous.I realise this problem occur from the beginning of the installation...but at that time my younger sister are no knowledge to use the internet at all.And both of my father and sister could tolerate to each other.

But now the thing are going even worst when my younger sister are quit 'GIAN' to logon her friendster webpage everyday.Now there will always had ROYAL RUMBLE same at WWE match when 3 of them keep argueing each other to use the internet.

So now i got some information from my friend that using ALL IN ONE 4 PORT MODEM ROUTER are not suitable/efficient for my situation.He suggest to make a separate networking system by linking 4 PC to a single 5 or 8 port switch with standalone modem router.He claim that with this way my connection will be more stable and efficient.

Which Method Is The Best For Me?

1) A branded all in one 4 port modem,router,switch like Belkin,3Com or Linksys?

or....

2) Standalone 5 or 8 port switch + Standalone modem router?

Plz help me to solve this problem since cannot tahan anymore to be a referee in their match
