As per topic is it more fuel efficient to get a full tank when the tank is empty or continue refilling?

Some points i got from people i have asked are

1. Refill little by little makes you drive more cautiously thus more bang for your buck

2.Refill 1 shot dont need to turn off car and start up car again (wastage of petrol from starting up car) thus saving petrol and helping you get more by pumping full tank at a time..
