Hi,

My wordpress-blog www.30dayartist.com just got hacked.

My site is a non-profit organization hoping to give artist
the freedom to rediscover themselves by posting
40 paintings in 30 days.

I don't understand why anyone would want to hack
my site. What they get out of it?

They even deleted all my posts inside.

How do I protect wordpress in the future for hackers?

Anyone of you heard of these hackers who called themselves;

Malay Power Team?

They placed this picture at my blog and posted some
negative words toward the Indonesians.

i've surveyed and read everywhere for a very long time.

A bad experience with Philips 42pfl5403.

hate the quality.

this 3 is the best so far...

but which?

the hell with the budget.
i'm feddup. just want the best of these range.

ASUS Mini PC Nova Lite PX24

Should I buy ASUS Mini PC Nova Lite PX24?

At the Asus site, it says that it can play 1080p...

But when I went to Compuzone, the salesperson
told me cannot, and he actually tested a movie file
that says 1080p on the machine and it was jerking like crazy..

Then he told me instead to get a 2k+ machine that can
play 1080p.

I've researched in the internet of how to build a HTPC,
and most of the specs they recommend is low.
Usually motherboard is in-build with the graphic+sound card.

What should I do?

Should I just buy the Asus? Build my own?
Or take the Compuzone Salesperson quote of a
2k+ machine. (almost 3k)?

Hi.

There's just too many technical terms and too many pages in other thread regarding HTPC.

i'm not very familiar with computer technical terms.

i just need help to build a HTPC.

budget is not more than RM1,500.

besides the basic of the usual HTPC setting; casing having to be small and low noise,
these are my priority requirements:

video:
able to play all the latest 1080p, etc, mkv, in my 42" Full-HD LCD.
(HMDI preferably for clear-crisp-smooth motion?)

sound:
i'll be getting a 6 piece PC speakers too, hoping to have
a 5.1 surround system in my room.
(what type of output is the best? and recommended speakers?)
for speakers i'm allocating additional RM500.

connection:
wi-fire

storage:
1TB, DVD player.

can i get a wireless game controller as a replacement to a remote control?

anyone can recommend me what parts to get to build my first HTPC?
i've researched the net, and I'm overly confused with the load of information.

please help...

and....

know which shops in Low Yat that I can get the best price?
