ASUS N43 Cannot Boot. What to do with it?

My laptop just died. It's a Asus N43S, almost 4 years old.
Full Specs:
- 4GB ram
- intel core i5 2410M 2.3GHz
- NVIDIA GT540M 1GB

Everything was working fine until one day I was using it on battery and it suddenly shut off itself. The battery was around 30% at that time and I was just reading something on PDF. So I thought the battery is low so I went to charge it. But I can't boot it anymore after that.

When I try to start it, the HDD light will turn on for a while, and then gone. The light bulb light will be on. And the Caps Lock light is always on.
I tried a couple of stuffs, removing the HDD, RAM, and GeForce Graphic Card and it still behave the same. Now I'm suspecting the integrated VGA overheated.

My Question is, I'm not sure what to do with it now. I want to sell it out but not sure what's the acceptable price given the condition.
If you are interested in buying it, please PM me your offer price. *NOTE: I will remove the HDD as I have all my data inside.

Another option is to send it for repair. ASUS service center charge RM 100 just for inspection. Super not worth the money I will say.
I check with some retail shop in Lowyat, they say they can replace the graphic card for RM 300. Or they will buy the laptop from me for RM 300.

Dark places around KL

Do you have any suggestion on places around KL with very low lights?
We are looking for location to take some light trails/flash/glow in the dark photography. But not really sure where to find the perfect spots.

I need a new phone already!! but my target is the Xperia Mini Pro. Dunno when will it come out.
Don't ask me why would I want a small phone, I'm bored with that question

I'm looking for a small phone with Android in it. Budget around 1k. So, please suggest some small but nice phone
Some features wish list would be:
- Android 2.3
- good camera with flash
- wifi and 3G
- qwerty keyboard
- touch screen
- small

btw, the answer for the above question is that I already had an iPod touch 4G. That's enough for me to watch and play games.

ASUS N43 Hot palm rest

Just got my new laptop Asus N43 i5. I'm quite happy with it so far. But the left palm rest is hot!! and that's annoying!
Is this happen to any other N series model? any way to make it not hot?

these two models are exactly the same but the size. one is 14" another is 15".
but why are they the same price, both also Rm 2, 399 ? So, which one will you recommend?

If compared to dell, N4110 - 24251G - 14” and N5110 - 24451G - 15",
the 14" one only has 2GB RAM, and it's Rm 2, 349 currently. the 15" one is Rm 2, 499

I kind of like Dell's design more than Asus. But what do you know about Asus laptops? are they good?

This is my first time building a customized laptop. I'm quite sure about other stuffs but Motherboard and CPU.

my question is, will AMD Athlon X2 5200+ processor with ASUS M3A78-EM motherboard work well?
Any comment?
I need more understanding on this motherboard. Please give me some guide.

Also, I want to use my spoiled laptop which LCD and DVD Rom are still in good condition. What should I do?
