This topic is created due to the a Nikon D800 camera I bought on 8th April where the seller had told it had 16K ++ shutter count but after that when checked at home it was 46K ++. Cheating details and evidence of the transaction is in this link.

Had been trying to contact him for past two days but he has since avoided my calls hence am exposing him fully here.

He had posted the above advertisement and informed me that the shutter count of the D800 he was selling was 16000++ but in actual fact it was 46000++ after I bought
it from him and checked back home. Additionally I had checked with Nikon Malaysia that the camera warranty was going to expire in July which is 3 more months left
and not 5 months as he had mentioned. It might be just be a small inaccuracy but it could be assumed he was trying to sugarcoat the condition of his camera.

I would never have guessed a photographer in the wedding industry and trying to build a reputation will not be trustworthy.These are the screen shots of the chats we
had in whatsapp and in wechat on Tuesday 8 April between morning and evening where he had said the Shutter count was only 16K++.

The sale was done on that night (8th April) which can be proven from the EXIF of the photos from this flickr link below (photos are taken from camera where EXIF data cannot be manipulated):
Note the shutter count where it is 46000++, date and time stamp on night of 8th April. Unfortunately he had not removed the copyright information as well from the
camera. So there u go! The photos of the cheater's face with proof on EXIF data.

EXCUSES AND AVOIDANCE

These are screen shots of him telling he bought a Fuji using all the money early next morning (9th April 2014) after I had contacted him the night before and he said his phone has no battery and to talk next morning. He then told me in the morning he will not fully refund me at all which is just an excuse since it would be quite a far fetched story that he would manage to buy a camera so early the next morning.

MISSING ETHICS

This is a post he made on his facebook where he had told me the story he was not keen on taking up a job of RM700 but instead was he was able to cheat me
instead for that small sum. Talking bullshit about ethics of a photographer when he has none.
