Item conditions: When I tested it, everything seems to work fine. I very rarely use it, bought while I was studying in Australia but after several times using it, I ended up just going back to my G700 mouse as I like the feel of that mouse better.

As for warranty, I bought it while I was studying in Australia, so I'm no sure. I think the warranty is not covered here in Malaysia.

Reason for sale: Its just been sitting in one of my cupboards unused. So might as well sell it to get some money towards purchasing the Japanese New 3DS model that's coming out next month.

They can choose any of its undergraduate and postgraduate courses in electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineering.

The others include the Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NuMed) (opening in September), the Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology (NMIT) and Malborough College Malaysia within EduCity.

"Malaysia has always been progressive and forward thinking in education. And it is already making tremendous steps to do so by attracting the world's best educational institutions to set up here."

He later witnessed the signing of an agreement between Iskandar Education Enterprise Sdn Bhd and University of Southampton.

The university's engineering programme is ranked third best in the UK and the university itself is among the Top 100 in the world. This is the sixth foreign university to set up a campus in Malaysia.

Khaled said with 403 private colleges, 20 public universities, 45 private universities and 15 foreign branch campuses, Malaysia had great potential to tap into the education need of the region.

"We aim to recruit an additional 150,000 foreign students by 2015," he said, adding there would be no ratio for local and international students for private universities.

EduCity was expected to host 16,000 students on completion, said Iskandar Investment chief executive and president Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim.

University of Southampton vice-chancellor Prof Don Nutbeam said he hoped the students would be able to complete the whole course in Malaysia in the future.

Malaysia's dynamic economy and the concept of EduCity made the decision of investing in an international campus an easy one, he said.

"We were very attracted to the EduCity concept and to working alongside other major international universities. We are really very excited about the prospects and we have the option to expand after a couple of years," he said.

Also present at the signing ceremony were British High Commissioner to Malaysia Simon Featherstone and USMC chief executive Prof John McBride.

Taylor's University 2011 Fees

Hey everyone,
for the convenience of anybody that's searching for the 2011 Fees for programmes in Taylor's University and Taylor's College Subang Jaya and also to prevent cluttering the other Taylor's thread with discussions on fees I'm gonna post all the ones I have in this thread.
This list consist of most programmes in Taylor's University other than those from Taylor's Graduate School and certain other programmes that still hasn't released their fees. I also don't have fees for CAL,SAM and IBDP from Taylor's College Sri Hartamas but maybe I'll try to get them and update this post when I do. If you were to look at the list carefully you would also notice there's a whole bunch of new programmes starting in Taylor's University next year though we gotta wait for the Marketing department to finish the 2011 brochures before we got more info on them.
Don't ask why they are huge, I'm lazy to adjust my scanner settings and also don't ask why they are Megaupload links, it's because it's convenient for me.

Sejarah a Compulsory Pass in SPM from 2013

So people it's been announced that starting in 2013 Sejarah will be a compulsory pass in SPM together with BM meaning if you fail either one you will not be getting an SPM cert and is considered to have failed SPM. Starting in 2013 means the first batch would be the Form 2 students this year.

A lot of people may not like this though in some ways I do support this move. Now if only they change the syllabus to be less biased and maybe a bit more on world history lol ^^"

So what are your opinions on the matter ^^

MQA has given these 8 Institutions the ability to accredit their own programmes without going through MQA.
“However, the self-accreditation status does not include professional programmes which still need accreditation and recognition from the relevant professional bodies,” he said after presenting the self-accreditation certificates to the representatives of the institutions at the ministry yesterday.

These 8 Institutions are:

4 Malaysian Research Universities:
-Universiti Malaya(UM)
-Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

I'm wondering what is considered as a professional programme and which programme falls under their self-accreditation jurisdiction?
I know some professional programmes like Medicine,Pharmacy that has a body regulating them like MMC,Pharmacy Board etc. I'm not really sure how wide it is to interpret professional programmes.Are engineering programmes considered Professional Programmes etc.?

Taylor's Student-Get-Student Scheme

Hello Everyone,
As Stated I have created this thread for those who are really considering to study in Taylor's University College programs except those from the school of pre-university as this scheme does not apply to CAL,SAM,ICPU and IB Diploma sorry about that

Taylor's produced this scheme to reward students for getting their "friends" who never studied at Taylor's before to come and study in Taylor's.Therefore so that both YOU and I can benefit from this scheme,I would like to ask any of you guys or girls who are seriously considering to study in Taylor's or have confirmed that you will be studying in Taylor's but have yet to go inquire directly and register in Taylor's.I will share an amount of RM100(negotiable) with you from the rebate I will get through this scheme.

If you still have any questions regarding Taylor's that is giving you doubts on whether to study there or not,you may ask me so I can clear your doubt and help both me and you by participating in this program.I will try my best to assist you as much as you can in getting information from taylor's

Students who wish to complete a Biomedical Science degree in 3 years are able to do so by completing 2 years
at Taylor's University College and the final year at the University of Queensland. The student will be awarded a
BSc (Biomedical Science) by the University of Queensland.

Taylor’s Lakeside Campus is a state-of-the-art modern tropical university campus, designed to meet the needs of

shrubs and groundcover which provide a rich and stimulating natural environment. The Lakeside Campus

pre-university studies, Taylor's College Subang Jaya offers exceptional facilities for learning, including a library
with a vast collection of reading materials, technologically-advanced lecture theatres, a career resource centre
and much more.
