Question about push-ups

What is the difference in benefits between a narrow-stance push-up and a wide-stance push-up?

I'm not sure what's the term used for the two styles of push-ups,
but the narrow-stance is the one where your elbows are facing backwards.
While for the wide-stance, the elbows are facing outwards, which is I guess is the more common method.

What muscle group does the two different styles work more, and which is the more effective in chest muscle training?

I'm trying to increase my chest muscle size, and especially the inner chest muscles (where the left and right chest muscles meet in the middle).

Help is much appreciated.

How to fix injured lips and gum?

This afternoon I went for a badminton session with my buddies.
While playing doubles, my partner accidentally smashed his racket against my mouth.
My lower lip was injured and there were blood coming out of it like an open wound.
Apart from my lip, a small section of my gum of the lower row of teeth was also bleeding.
I applied pressure to stop the bleeding of the lower lip, but i had no idea how to apply pressure to stop the bleeding of the gum injury
That was like 45 minutes ago.

Now I've reached home, and the bleeding has mostly stopped, only when I press a tissue against the wound that a bit of blood would appear on the tissue.

What is the proper way of treating a mouth injury like this?

edit: posted a picture of the wound, the red circles are the injured areas.

Help?

Healing from gastric?

I'm looking for some advice for solving long term gastric problem.
I've been having Gastroesophageal reflux disease for the past 2 years, and i just can't seem to recover from it fully.
here's the wiki link for the disease > Gastroesophageal reflux disease

it's virtually a uber version of a typical gastric problem that's hard to heal, and apart from taking prescribed drugs to fix/suppress the symptoms, the only way to fully heal from it is a total change of lifestyle and food intake.

I exercise fairly regularly. when i'm free aka no assignment/exam/work, i go to the gym once a week, play futsal and badminton with my buds, and i've not eaten anything unhealthy ie fried/spicy/sour/fast/etc food for the past 1 year.
still it bugs me as my stomach will be affected by my mood swings and sometimes forced-irregular meal timing.
one bad habit i still have is my late sleeping hours of around 1am+

anyone faced this problem before and has healed fully from it? care to share some insights on what to do what not to do and other useful advice?
need help desperately~~~
