vodofane celcom broadband

I using vista home premium. I just bought vodofone celcom modem. at first, still ok althought quite slow. after since i update my vista to sp2, the usb device won't be detected. I open my computer and i don't see it.

All my usb devices cannot be detected. But, the weird part is that when I run in the safe mode, it still can be detected but sometimes it won't appear in the my computer but at the right corner icon, the safely remove it, sometimes it will present there but it just won't appear at the my computer, I just bought the vodafone celcom broadband. After the update of sp2 vista, I just won't be able to use it. even in safe mode or normal mode, it just won't appear in my computer.

i not sure whether my vista sp2 is installed correctly because it was suppose to restart few times and mine didn't. I try to shut down after installing it but after the shut down page loading ages( few hours), I pull out the power supply. I went to check at the system property and it is stated my vista is in version sp2 but in the add/remove program, I saw got sp1 and sp2 and when I click either one of them, I saw got the remove, change and repair option. Does it mean it did got stuck halfway? after since that time, my usb devices cannot be detected. When I use the safe mode, still can appear in the my computer but when I use the normal mode, all my usb device cannot be detected at my computer. And also is it compatible with vodafone celcom mobile broadband because no matter safe or normal mode, it just won't appear at my computer. any help?

Sometimes when at shopping complex, coffee shop like starbuck and old town offer free wifi. I usually use old town line to surf. At first few weeks, I still can surf. Then, although I connect it, I can't surf anymore. I wonder why. Next one is my university got free wireless. My frenz and my laptop can detect the wireless UTM and we connect. For us to start surfing net, we have to open browser to type our username and pass. My frenz can succesfully open and key in and surf. Mine once a blue moon only can. I already connect but when open the browser to load the page, it normally the page can' be displayed. I wonder why....I'm not sure whether both the question is the same problem or not.sorry n thnkx...
