[WTS] BOERBOEL Puppies : The ULTIMATE Guard Dog

What is a Boerboel?

The Boerboel (pronounced: burbul) is a large mastiff dog breed from South Africa combining power, strength and size with
athleticism and sound movement. The South Africans describe the Boerboel as the only breed in the world bred with only one purpose
ie. to guard and protect the family.

Why You Should Buy A Boerboel As A Guard Dog:

- They are the Ultimate Guard Dog.

- The Boerboel is reliable, obedient, and intelligent with strong watch and guard-dog instincts.

- The sheer size and looks of a Boerboel will intimidate and scare off any intruders, way before the need to attack (An adult boerboel
typically weighs 70 - 80+ kg)

- Boerboels are territorial making them very ideal to guard your entire house.

- They are fearless to defend against any intruders getting in to their territory.

- Take them for jogs or walks will ensure self protection from would be muggers or rapists.

- They are protective, loyal, self-assured, fearless but very gentle toward its owner and family members.

- Boerboels are good companions as they will accept the whole family, not just one person as their master. This is a stark contrast to many
breeds of dog where they will only listen to one dominant person in their “pack”.

Why You Should Get a Boerboel Puppy From Us:

- Ours are pure breed Boerboel puppies (World Champion line). Sire and dam are imported directly from South Africa.

- Grandparent are from World Champion line (PINNACLE HAVOC – the highest ranking Boerboel appraised in the world for the year 2011
and 2012, ranked no 1 on SABT top Boerboel list for 2011 and 2012, ranked no 1 on SABT currently as the most sought after stud register)

PICS OF PINNACLE HAVOC

- We are the pioneer to register our Boerboels as a legal breed with MKA (Malaysia Kennel Association) to ensure puppies sold from our
kennel are real authentic Boerboel puppies.

- All our puppies are 6 weeks old, Big Size in Bones, Head and Structure. Male and female puppies available.

- All our puppies come with first vaccination, dewormed, microchipped and with individual certificate from the MKA (Malaysian Kennel Association)
certifying they are of pure breed line (Buying Boerboel puppies without certificate would give risk of dubious mastiff mix breed which could give
risk to unpredictable character of the dog)

- Available colours: fawn, light fawn and red fawn

- If you are worried for the safety of your family at home (especially with the rise of burglaries and robberies), don't hesitate to buy a Boerboel.
You will not regret this purchase. Buying a Boerboel is better than hiring a home or personal security guard (provided you can afford them).
Boerboels will guard your home and family members with their life and their maintenance cost is low.

Price: RM12,000.00

Location: Petaling Jaya

Limited puppies available. First come first serve basis. Serious buyers only. Please call 012-2016700 (Ken) for enquiries or
viewing appointment. See for yourself and you will surely be impressed on first sight of this breed.

How to connect Astro Beyond to notebook 5.1 sound?

Ok. Quick question here. I got a Macbook Pro 2011 currently running on bootcamp OSX Lion and Windows 7. My notebook is currently hooked up to an external USB Creative X-FI 5.1 soundcard with Logitech Z506 5.1 PC speakers. I have to be booted up in Windows 7 in order to play 5.1 sound successfully.

My Astro Beyond is currently hooked up to my a LCD TV with shitty speaker system. I want to connect Astro Beyond digital audio (HDMI) to my MacBook Pro so that I can get 5.1 surround sound from my notebook rather than stereo sound from my LCD TV. I do not want to spend another fortune to buy another home theatre system just for Astro Beyond.

Is this possible? I know that macbook pro has a digital line in via the minijack. Is it possible for me to buy a HDMI splitter where one HDMI cable goes directly to the TV for Astro Beyond video and the other HDMI cable should be connected to my Macbook Pro. However, the Macbook Pro only has a digital line-in via minijack. How am I going to get the HDMI end to connect to the line-in minijack to produce 5.1 surround sound from my Macbook Pro?

If this is not possible, what other ideas are available to hook up Astro Beyond to my Macbook pro to output 5.1 surround sound from Astro Beyond signal?

Thanks for any help I can get.

Connecting Logitech G930 To HiMedia 900B.

I need your expert help please. I can't seem to find an answer on Google. I have just ordered a Logitech 7.1 wireless headset G930 for PC (coming in next week) whereby it connects via USB and it has its own built-in soundchip for audio decoding.

Now, instead of just using this wireless headset for PC usage only, I thought of buying a Himedia 900B external media player, connect it to a HDTV, and hook the headset up to the external media player to make it into a Home Theatre System for my ears only. I do not intend to invest in an actual 7.1 setup because it is expensive and I'm just using it in a small bedroom. The Himedia 900B has a myriad of connections (see specifications below), but I'm not sure if the USB 3.0 on the Himedia player is capable of transferring sound signals out to the headset for processing like it is able to on a PC.

If connecting directly to HiMedia USB 3.0 won't work, how else is possible to hook up to HiMedia other A/V out connections to the USB connection headset in order to make it work?

Hope someone can help me out here. Thanks.

Himedia HD900B Specification:

CPU: Realtek 1186DD SoC, 1200 DMIPS MIPS Processor 750MHz
RAM: 512MB DDR3
Flash: 512MB NAND
A/V Out: HDMI 1.4 interface up to 1080p
A/V Out: Composite Audio/Video
A/V Out: Y/Pb/Pr Video
A/V Out: SPDIF Coaxial (digital audio)
A/V Out: SPDIF Optical TOSLink (digital audio)
Storage Supported: Internal 3.5″ SATA HDD rack to easily and quickly insert and exchange an internal 3.5″ HDD
Storage Supported: External hot swap SATA with power to connect an HDD/DVD ROM/BD ROM
Storage Supported: USB external HDD/DVD ROM/BD ROM
Storage Supported: Can work as USB 3.0 external HDD with your computer
USB Supported: 1 x USB 3.0 Slave Port
USB Supported: 2 x USB 2.0 Host Port
3D Formats Supported: Frame Packing(Blu-ray 3D), SideBySide(Left/Right), Over/Under(Above/Below), NOT work with Frame Sequential 3D
3D TV Supported: Active Shutter / Polarization 3D TV
Video Codecs Supported: RM/RMVB, H.264, VC1, WMV, MPEG 1/2/4, Divx, Xvid, Flash Video H.264
Video Formats Supported: BDMV, BD-ISO, MKV, MOV, WMV, TS, M2TS, MTS, FLV, AVI,
Video Formats Supported: DVD-ISO, VOB, M2P, MP4, MPG, DAT, ASF, TP TRP, SWF
Video Output Supported: 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p/24Hz, 1080p/50Hz, 1080p/60Hz
Audio Formats Supported: DTS-HD Master, DTS, Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus,
Audio Formats Supported: AC3, LPCM, ADPCM, FLAC, APE,
Audio Formats Supported: LC-AAC, HE-AAC, MP3, OGG, WAM ,WAV
Media Cards Supported: SD, SD(HC), MMC, MS, MS Pro
Wireless Network: 802.11N Wi-Fi Adapter Built-in
Wired Gigabit Network: RJ-45 Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000
Subtitles Format Supported: SRT, SUB, idx+SUB, SSA, SMI, PGS subtitle
Subtitle Codecs Supported: Unicode (UTF8), ANSI, BIG5 (Traditional Chinese),
Subtitle Codecs Supported: Simplified Chinese, Western, Turkish, Central European,
Subtitle Codecs Supported: Greek, Cyrillic, SE European, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese, Thai
Menu OSD Language: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish,
Menu OSD Language: French, German, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Russian, Thai, Vietnamese
Image Formats Supported: JPE, HD JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, GIF
Discs Formats Supported: RBD, MiniBD, AVCHD, DVD, VCD, CD
Dimension: 226 x 180 x 50mm (approx.)
Weight: 1kg
*Additional languages & formats will be added in future firmware releases.
**Dolby Digital: “Dolby” and the double-D symbol are trademarks of Dolby Laboratories.
Should I look for a partner or hire programmers?

Guys, I'm in a dilemma. I have a pretty good concept to start an internet business that will autorun by itself to gain revenue. My problem is looking for a trustworthy and reliable partner who is also capable to create this portal from scratch.

I know some of you may tell me to hire a programmer to do it, but I have bad experiences using offshore programmers listed on freelance sites where their programming skills are mediocre at best and they will not complete your project to your requirements and they try to sucker your money as much as possible. These are my projects which costs more than US$5k after their successful bid and the project was not completed. I have lost money and lots of time from dealing with global freelancers and ironically, they are highly rated by other users which I think was threatened to give a positive feedback or else their projects will not get completed.

Just to give you about my background. I graduated in computer studies long time ago, but I did not make programming a career. Hence, I have the ability to conceptualize but not on the programming bit, especially php/mysql. I love the internet and I would like to have at least a business that is self sustaining to make some money out of something I love to do.

Now, how do I go about looking for a willing partner whose job is to do create and manage a portal? If the work to create a portal cannot handle by a person, we could always hire freelance programmer(s) to assist, but he has to know programming in LAMP to manage a programmer or a team of programmers.

I always envy those that does not have programming skills but yet they manage to get their websites running successfully, eg. mudah.my, groupsmore.com (now is groupon), everyday.com.my, etc. How do they do it?

My question to you is this.

1. If you are in my shoes, would you be looking for a partner who is programming capable or you'd just go with hiring programmers to work on your project? A partner will always be with you to ensure successful operation while hiring programmers will cost quite a bit and there is no guarantee your website will be like what you want after completion. Also, you will be depended upon the same hired programmers to do the maintenance for you. What happens if they are not around anymore to do your job? Please note that this portal is going to be global, hence it is a big project to handle. How would you go about it if you were me?

Got RM200K cash after selling my property.

I just sold my property (apartment) and have an access cash of RM200K. I would like to know how you'd invest this access money to ensure you get maximum returns? My idea is to gain as much money as possible from this RM200K within the next 1 - 2 years so that I can have even more money to buy a landed property (around RM600 - RM700k) so that I can put more as a deposit to take a reduced term loan from the banks since they are all lintah darah one.

My current idea would be to split half between low and high risk investment as shown below.

Low Risk Investment

- Take RM100K (50%) and park it in fixed deposit. Very safe but only gain less than 4% per annum. At least if my high risk investment all burn, I still have a 50% fallback of money to survive.

High Risk Investment

- Take RM50K and invest in current gold market and hope that it will go beyond US2,000 next year.
- Take RM50K and invest in US New York Exchange and buy blue chip shares with high dividend yield + hope the share price will go up in 1 to 2 years. Example of bluechip shares are like Apple, Google, etc.

What do you think of my strategy?

[addedon]August 22, 2011, 1:50 pm[/addedon]Wow, a 100 views and not an opinion shared?
Pls HELP suggest FREE M'sian dating CHAT site.

Guys and gals. I really need your help and advice. I'm trying to look for a good Malaysian chat site (with lots of Malaysian members) that would allow me to chat up with unattached girls for friendship and dating, and it came to nothing, yet.

I have tried site like Ahmoi but sending emails to the females doesn't quite cut the result for me because they never respond. I actually like chatting realtime instead of writing letters, that is what I do best.

So, if you can suggest a good Malaysian chat site that you regularly use to chat to fish for female/male companions, please let me know which one I should be heading to.

Would appreciate it very much. Thanks a zillion!!!
