[WTA] Replacing my fried/broken motherboard

Dear gurus,

Last week, shit happened to me. Long story short, my PSU gone (accidentally swapped the voltage, and you know what happened - small explosion with smokes coming out along with plastic-like burning smell), and I suspect my motherboard too (no more standby light on the mobo itself...)

I don't know whether my processor is gone too... don't know how to check. But please no, it'll cost me a fortune...

Anyway, here's my current/old setup, as advised by one of the gurus here (I think end of Dec 2011, so pardon the specs...):

mid gaming rig rm3k suggestion?

dear all gurus,

need your opinions to build a rig (my first time) O.O

usage profile: mid-high gaming + photoshopping/illustrator + video editing + programming + (save electricity or green?? is this even possible?)
budget: RM3k++
examples of game: crysis, gta 4, MW2 etc
already have: screen, keyboard, monitor, speaker (BOSE Companion 3 Series II)
preference (if there are better alternatives, feel free to change):
1) gpu: nvidia
2) cpu: intel

few notes:
1) do you think gtx260 is enough?
2) should i go for i7 2600k or i5 2500k? is there any notable difference?
3) off-the-budget: if i want to get dual-screens, which brand do you guys suggest? (i want them to look like nice twins sitting next to each other if you know what i mean?) (say budget is rm1k++ for both screens)
4) do I need SSD that much? can't i just use ram?
5) do you think 8 GB or 16 GB ram is good for my usage?
6) is there anything else that i should know? any forewarnings/advice etc regarding the rig?

note: if 3k++ is impossible, I am willing to stretch up to 3.5k++.

I will be going abroad sooner and I want to buy a compact camera before that.

My budget is around RM800++.

I want to buy a camera which is not really bulky, can be easily put into pocket, since I am going to travel a lot.
Currently, I am considering Panasonic FX10, but apparently, it is not that famous. I went to lowyat and had a hands-on experience on this thing and I like it a lot. Perhaps, because of the salesman being very persuasive... ahah

But I welcome any other suggestions. Brand doesn't matter as long as it shoots fine everywhere.

P/S: Oh ya, is Leica that good compared to other lenses? The salesman told me that everytime I asked about other cameras...
