CPU temp

Hi guys, I'm trying find out if the type of grahic card installed has any direct effect on CPU temp as well?

Does faster, hotter graphic really increases CPU temp (even at idle)?
Does the CPU work harder to keep up even at idle?

Previously I was using ATI 5770, and waking up from sleep mode cpu temp was 39~ slowly rising to 43 at idle
Now I'm using ATI 5850, and waking from sleep mode cpu temp is already idling at 47~
