Powerlogic 500W (Pure 250W)

Hi all, I currently using this PSU that I take out from PowerLogic casing.
My PC spec:

Dual Core E2160 (no OC)
Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L
1x1GB and 1x2GB value ram
nvidia 7300GT
1 320GB WD C.Green HDD
1 LiteOn DVD-ROM

Basically my rig running fine at the moment. However, I am considering to upgrade my GC to HD5670 512MB DDR5.

So I have done some 'research' myself and use the PSU Calculator (http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine) to calculate the power required to run my rig and the result is roughly 250W.

Techspot (http://www.techspot.com/review/240-ati-radeon-hd-5670/page9.html) also shows that a system power consumption at STRESS level only require 243W with higher spec than mine.

So basically, I got my system power requirement under STRESS, however, I seriously do not understand my PSU, what is the pure 250W means? Is it sufficient to power up my rig?

Tks

I'm thinking of buying this board: GA-MA790FXT-UD5P, but when I take a look at the supported cpu , the last column of the table write F6 (for Phenom II X4 965), does this mean I have to update the bios only to be able to use Phenom II X4 965 (C2)?

tks in advanced
