Hi all,
I have question regarding the latest interest rate for car loan.
What is the interest for 9 years with RM70k for foreign car?
Is that 3.5%?

Because recently i have one SA who told me that she able to make it to 3% - 3.1% for 9 years.
However, i checked with several bankers and the result i get is impossible to make this rate.
The lowest rate that they can get is 3.25% for 5 years.
They can only try to fight for lower rate but the chance is minimal for 9 years.
As the interest rate is determined by Bank Negara and all banks need to follow on it.

When i double confirmed with that SA, she told me that this is the special rate that bank offer for their branch.
The banks are Hong Leong and RHB and another one (I can't recall that bank).
Because i need to pay RM1k for down payment.
If the interest rate that i get from bank is out of my expectation, i can cancel the order.
But i can't get back that RM1000.

That's mean you still have to proceed it however u can't get the better rate as what they told u before.
In this case, i feel like that SA just simply promise me everything including that low interest rate just to close my case and get her commission.
So guys and ladies, do u think what she said is believable?
