Samsung: NextGen Phones Will Have 64-Bit Processor

Samsung's mobile business head JK Shin has said that the company's next smartphones will feature a 64-bit CPU, according to the Korea Times. The remarks follows Apple's launch of the iPhone 5s, the first handset with the 64-bit, billion transistor A7 processor and 64-bit OS 7. Saying that Samsung is aware of Apple's ambitions in China, the exec added that a device with such a chip would come "not in the shortest time," but that "our next smartphones will have 64-bit processing capability." They could use the ARMv8 64-bit architecture that ARM has been promoting for quite awhile now, since Samsung is a prominent licensee. Does that mean a Galaxy S 5 flagship will become the Korean company's first to use the tech? Cue the rumors and speculation.

Before digital camera and smartphone era, there are many reports of UFO sightings and monsters like Big Foot, Lochness monsters, mermaids sightings.

Why after digital era, there is no more new discoveries on this?

As we own more high tech gadgets, we can easily capture all these. So does it mean that all these UFO doesnt exist?

PC sales see 'longest decline' in history

The survey by Gartner found China's Lenovo has edged past Hewlett-Packard as the world's largest vendor, reclaiming the top spot it had captured briefly last year.
The preliminary figures showed a worldwide drop of 10.9pc in the second quarter compared with the same period a year ago, with PC shipments falling to 76m units.
"We are seeing the PC market reduction directly tied to the shrinking installed base of PCs, as inexpensive tablets displace the low-end machines used primarily for consumption in mature and developed markets," said Mikako Kitagawa, analyst at Gartner.
"In emerging markets, inexpensive tablets have become the first computing device for many people, who, at best, are deferring the purchase of a PC. This is also accounting for the collapse of the mini notebook market."
Gartner's survey showed Lenovo taking a 16.7pc global market share with shipments of 12.67m units, just ahead of HP's 12.4m and 16.3pc share. Both firms saw sales declines, but Lenovo's was limited to 0.6pc while HP sales fell 4.8pc.

As Topic, why cant they build an underground subway system like HK, Japan, UK, Australia, Singapore?

Cost saving?

I remember Bangkok also have the same train system like KL, and i find it very ugly because it covers the road and beauty of the city.

Nurul Izzah’s ejection from state ‘big mistake’

KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 — PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar’s deportation from Sabah yesterday is a “disaster” and a “big mistake”, Umno’s Kinabatangan MP Datuk Bung Moktar Radin said last night.

Penampang MP Darell Leiking from PKR also criticised the barring of the Lembah Pantai lawmaker’s entry into Sabah, saying that it had “hurt our state’s reputation as hosts”.

“I believe this is a big mistake… and it needs to be corrected,” Bung Moktar tweeted on his @MyKinabatangan Twitter handle, tagging Nurul Izzah and Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman in his tweet yesterday.

“I don’t understand why Nurul was not allowed to enter Sabah. If it’s true, then this is a mistake and a disaster,” added the Umno supreme council member.

Nurul Izzah was denied entry into Sabah upon arriving in Kota Kinabalu yesterday evening.

Darell pointed out that Nurul Izzah had come to Sabah to celebrate Pesta Kaamatan, or the Harvest Festival, in her personal capacity.

“Why is it that Malaysians joining a festive celebration with fellow Malaysians, especially the Kadazans in Sabah, now a reason for denial of entry?” said Darell in a statement late last night.

Darell said the Sabah government had the right to bar anyone from entering the state, but stressed that the right should not be abused.

“I challenge the chief minister and the state Cabinet to explain to the people of Sabah and Malaysia as a whole why this act transpired,” he said.

Another PKR vice-president, Chua Tian Chang, was similarly barred last April from entering Sabah.

EDIT: I'm using it for gaming, especially FPS like BF3. I know 7850 is better than GTX560 Ti, but why according to benchmark test GTX560 perform better?

Hello guys I need some suggestion to get best connection.

So My router was near my tv, and my PC is in a room that I dont get full bar, so I hope you can suggest me what kind of solution can I take?

My initial idea was to buy another router, use it as repeater in my PC room, and use LAN cable to connect to my PC (no wifi)

OR

purchase a usb wifi receiver and install on my PC?
