Soundcards for outputting digital surround

Hello there... I hav recently found out that for analogue output, the DAC of a soundcard is what mostly determines it's sound quality...

In that case, this point would lose its relevance if digital output is used (eg. Dolby Digital pass through via SPDIF)... which brings me to my question: So if I intend to connect my PC to my home theater via digital connection, there wouldn't be much difference between let's say; a Xi-Fi XtremeGamer FPS and an on-board soundcard , would there?

Acrylic case problems?

Hi all, I'm just curious since I bought an acrylic casing the other day...

Does anyone here hav an acrylic casing... if so, any problems encountered with it so far (eg. static electricity since no proper grounding, kena electric shock, system unstable, temps on the high side, mobo+components fried, dust accumulation)?

Quite scared now (mostly because of my baby 7900GT) since I did some research on the net and some say ok but some say acrylic cases memang attract static charge and not so good for PC performance...

Hey guys, I was just wonderin... has anyone of u tried to connect a USB keyboard to the 360? Coz I saw the dashboard update got say something about adding compatibility to USB keyboards... hand a bit itchy but scared to connect my cheapo RM25 keyboard...

On a related note, can we connect a mouse to the 360 as well?

I'm just curious on the functionality of these two devices on the console (eg. like in first person shooters)... any games supportin the use of these devices?
