[SOLVED] New PC cannot boot up

I have bought myself an AMD AM1 combo.
AMD MSI AM1i + AMD Athlon 5350.
I could not boot it up when I used my new Flex-ATX psu I bought from China.
Here is the spec:

I only have the cpu, cpu fan and monitor cable installed on the motherboard.
The fan did not spin, and no display on the monitor. No beep from the buzzer too.
However, when I plugged in my ps2 keyboard, I saw the leds (caps, num and scroll lock) lighted up quickly after boot up.
I have tested this combination worked fine by using a different psu I have on another pc. (gave a beep because I did not installed ram. after installed ram, I can see POST)
Do I have a faulty psu? Or does this psu not deliver enough power?
I estimated my new system should not run more than 70w, this is supposed to be a low power pc.

Thank you.

Tunetalk APN setting

Good day all,

I have a problem with my Tunetalk mobile internet on my android phone.
It cannot access any google related sites. Other sites are OK.
There is no issue when I am on wireless.
When I googled this issue, there are suggestions that APN could be the culprit.
The auto APN setting is using celcom3g for some reason. (I also googled on this, and tunetalk seems to ride on celcom line)
So here I would like to resetup my APN manually.
In tunetalk website http://tunetalk.com/my/PlanRates/manualconfig, there are 2 importants setting which are missing (mcc and mnc).
Can anyone of you provide me these missing values?

Thank you very much.

[WTA] GPU fan cable

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a gpu fan cable, specifically a 4-Pin PWM Fan Connector (Male) to 4-Pin Mini GPU Fan Connector (Female).

I need the cable to replace my faulty graphic card fan.
Does anyone of you knows where to buy/get this cable locally, or if not available locally then preferably online without shipping fee? I found this cable here (link).
Or instead of buying this converter, does anyone of you knows how to mod this cable to a case fan?
I'm planning to use a case fan (not sure which fan, please suggest ) with this cable attached to the gpu for pwm purpose.
I also have other plan to use an after market gpu fan. But I couldn't find it locally.
Whichever option is cheaper/available.

I am using a referenced gpu GTX 660 palit.
I am using a bitfenix prodigy case, so the case fan could be mounted to the side panel.
Currently, I used an arctic cooling f12 pwm fan with the cable attached to the psu.
It is noisy (I think since it is running full speed always), but doesn't cool my graphic card enough.
It is quite lagging even when playing Warcraft 3 probably because it is hot.

Please help, thank you.

DIY NAS [Updated, full spec inside]

Hi guys,

I would like to diy a NAS.
The price of ready made NAS device is quite expensive to me, that it is not worth the hardware I am to pay for.

Would it be better/cheaper if I make one compared to ready made NAS device?
For eg: given a RM600 budget, comparable to the cost of Synology DS214SE.

Would these hardware made a better NAS?
Mini-ITX build.
1)Casing of my choice Jonsbo U1/V2 bundle with psu 300W ~ RM260
2)Intel Bay trail-D or AMD Kaveri APU (10W-25W) ~ Not sure how much this will cost, mostly it will come together with a motherboard
Planning to get this.
3)Old notebook hd 500GB sata2 ~ recycle
3)2gb ram ~ recycle notebook ram
4)Any free NAS OS on the internet, probably freenas/xpenology

Usage, mainly will be a media server(DLNA), file server, downloader, not sure of any other useful NAS features I might need. But basically these.
I wonder if this low power CPU is better than the one use in ready made NAS?
Could it handle transcoding as well?
Could it handle multiple user at the same time? ~ 2-3 users max

Your opinion are very much welcome. Thank you.

WTA>Need an Amp for Panasonic SA-PM147

Hi,
I have this Panasonic CD Stereo System SA-PM147. It is almost similar to SC-PM47.

Picture borrowed from Amazon.com is actually SC-PM47 model. The visible difference is the design. SA-PM147 has mirror finish. I don't have a camera to upload the picture of my radio. The CD-tray is broken. So, it is mainly used to listen to the radio. I plan to use the speaker for my desktop pc. After I read some topics in lowyat forum, I found out that I can't use it straightaway. Instead, I need an amp in order to "drive" the speaker.

Here is the specification of the radio:

So, can anyone suggest me an amp to use with the speaker please? I don't plan to spend much for an amp if I could get a good multimedia pc speaker for about the same price. It just that I'm tempted to own an amp after I read some topics in lowyat forum eg: T-amp user/diyer. BTW, I don't have the skills to make one
