Clamshell Mode affect Wifi

Anyone here using their Macbook Pro in clamshell mode having terrible wifi connection? I've notice my internet are ridiculously slow when I'm running in clamshell mode. This is weird because I've been using clamshell mode for almost 6 months, and this only occur recently.

Windows 7 upgrading problem

Guys, i am planning to upgrading my vista home premium 32bit to 7. Can i upgrade it to Ultimate version? What version do i have to get in order to install 32bit? it is x64 or x84? I am using Acer aspire 4935G laptop, will i able to get all the driver for the 7 if i install it? Thanks
