NO 6 pin graphic card!

Hello everyone, recently i just bought a xfx 9800 gt and the graphic card no 6 pin.. Can it work by itself?? i know that some cards can work by itself by just inserting it to the graphic card socket but this 9800 gt is considered a powerful card.. Need help here
